I've known of this show, for... EVER!
xD I'm re-watching it, because, I'm older now, and I actually have the ability to comprehend the awesome.
8D Anyone else like/ seen this show?
It (long ago!) used to be on Toonami, and well, XD Some older people on the forums, may remember it.

I have all of it on DVD and I am trying to rewatch it. I got close to finishing it then I stopped watching. I only have the last dvd to watch.

I watched it for the first time a few months ago when my anime club showed it; it's alright. I liked Aisha Clanclan; her personality is just epic. I wouldn't mind watching the series again, provided that the second time around is in English. (Plus, I missed several episodes the first time around, so my current impression of the show is full of holes).

I've watched the whole thing a few times now, and I'm still in love with Gene's character as I've always been. XD a big pushy cry baby pretty much.
XD I agree Aisha's personality is epic, just warning though, the times I watched the series in english, her voice have me headaches multiple times. ^^; so. be careful.

My boyfriend randomly turned on some episodes tonight and I watched them with him.
I forgot what an annoying, dumb bitch Melfina is.
Fred is god tier.

You'd be surprised at how much of a difference there can be. Japanese Aisha was a complete dork, but her voice didn't give me a headache.
I haven't heard English Aisha, so for all I know she wouldn't either - but some English VAs' voices make me wish I could listen to some nice soothing nails on a chalkboard or cat mating calls instead.

I loved this show. I watch it every few years, after I have forgotten much of what happened, so that I can love it all over again, and not feel been there done that.
Funny, how some of the American science fiction I've been reading, requires space ships with arms. BUt then reality has shown that we will probably always have ships with arms from now on. Thanks to the shuttle disaster, and robotic arm aided visual inspections before re-entry.

XD I mean, when I watched it the first time through, I was really ignorant to what it was called, why I liked it and what the characters names were.
8D Watching it again, I didn't realize how much I missed. XD Like, that Gene is a horrible pervert. TOTALLY MISSED THAT WHEN I WAS LITTLE! 8D

My G/F & I have the complete collection on DVD & have loved this show for a long time! In fact, I have been considering the idea of cosplaying Gene Starwind someday if I can figure out how to make his scars look real. :P

:o I have cosplayed Zuko from Avatar, his scar IS ALL OVER HIS FACE!
I was told I had the best scar, because I actually made it look real, so, There are ways to do it. XD and for ridiculously cheap I'll have you know!

If I cosplayed Anyone from Outlaw Star I would be Gene, He's just a big bundle energetic cussing.
