Okay, I'm wanting to start working on a new signature. Could someone remind me on the specific pixel stat max that I can work with, so I know what I have to work with before I start?

We don't have an exact limit defined at the moment. If a signature is distracting we may consider more issues than just physical size, such as content or animation. I would suggest looking at other signatures and just staying in that general size range.

We haven't had frequent problems with signature size (or content) so haven't narrowed down the rules exactly, and I'm not sure we need to. As I said, physical size is not the only determining factor.
What type of signature do you have in mind?

It'd be a rectangular box that'll have a few images of cosplay possibilities. I've made some before & have been asked by other mods to reduce their sizes, the last time being earlier this year.

Just my personal thoughts, not speaking in any official capacity:
=/< the height of your Lina gif? Absolutely fine, provided it's not a fluorescent disco-ball effect or anything similarly obnoxious.

Somewhere in between? Depends, based on the content. That much text would probably be overboard; bright flashy colors would probably be overboard; a thumbnail of a cosplay would probably be okay.
Again, that's just my personal taste, not official in any form or fashion.

Personally, I think it looks fine. It is a little tall, but it's related to the subjects of these boards, it doesn't have any creative use of four-letter words / risquee content / political manifestos, it's not going to cause epileptic seizures, it's tasteful... i.e. it's not going to give me headaches.
Jeff, what do you think?

I don't see anything wrong with it. I wouldn't have noticed anything wrong with it among the other similar cosplay sigs that people have.
