What: ZOMBIES.
When: Saturday, October 23rd.
Where: Meeting in Pioneer Square at 3:30pm for photo ops. Thrill the World PDX (Thriller Dance), begins at 4. The Walk begins after the dance.

Anyone going? ;) I'd really like to go, and was curious as to who here is planning/hoping to go as well!

That day is on my school's Homecoming, but I think I wanna go as Bloody Alois. xD

According to the website, the walk is at 3:30pm. At 4pm the Thrill The World (TTW) dance happens. TTW is a world wide dance to Thriller, that happens simultaneously at the same time. The Walk and TTW are two different things, but the walk may end at the dance. Just depends on where they both start. As of yet, no destinations have been officially declared.
Also happening on the 23rd, for those 21 and older is a zombie ball.

Ya, that is why I spent a bunch of time looking around the websites I posted. I put up the most accurate information I could find so people don't have to be confused like I was.

It's actually the in-laws really...but family all the same. Wish I could, but we are planning a BBQ that day when the rest of the guys get back from Elk hunting so there would be no way we could make it to Portland in time anyway lol. Cool thought though lol...seeing them all as zombies...lmao.

Just bought some more make up yesterday because I had to throw my old stuff away. And then sometime this week I'm going to assemble some clothes, and rip them apart! >8D I'm so excited, I also plan on dragging another friend into this with me. Just because I want someone to dress up with blood. :3

hopefully I can go :) my only ride would be my bf and he has work till about 4 but if he hurries he might be able to get off earlier, and homecoming is at 8 that night LOL! But I really hope i can go.

As much as I would love to go, I live 3 hours away and I'm going to a party that night.
But you know something? I'm dressing up like a zombie and going in to downtown Bend. I'm trying to get the crazy rednecks to go "O_o"

Okay, false alarm, I'm going to be in California for the zombie walk for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW. And fun fact, the last time I was in California was, oh! This time last year!

I would, except the reason I'm going is because I was surprised with a trip to Disneyland so I feel like Disneyland > zombies. I am going to Hollywood one of the days I'm there though, and I feel like zombies are acceptable there.

That's what I heard too. :( Zombie umbrellas anyone? If the rain is really bad, then chances are my friends and I will just chill in downtown undercover. I don't like getting my costumes wet.

wet, bedraggled, grungy? Sounds like a zombie in the rain. I don't see anything wrong with that.
I'm thinking of taking a hacksaw to an old suit and staining it with fake blood. Gotta find something that won't wash out though.

I have to get the fake blood that will wash out of clothes...So I can actually wear my clothes later...And especially if it gets in my wig....Don't want it to stain OAO

I need a good zombie outfit. Ideally I'd bury a suit underground covered in sterilized lamb blood for a month or two but I don't have time or money for that unfortunately.

I needed blood that wouldn't wash out too, so what I did for my bloody Sweeney shirt was use a combination of fabric paint and calligraphy ink. ;) That stuff's not coming out LOL.

I have washable and non-washable blood.
I'll bring some with me. If you need the blood, look for a Alice Human Sacrifise Len. Who's very bloody. :)

That's an interesting point about the blood. If the rain's bad at the Walk then I think I'm going to bring my regular Sweeney shirt too in case we go to Lloyd or anything, since my bloody one well.. has a lot of blood on it. The security there already doesn't like my Hatter and I. :B

Yeah, I guess there won't be much of a bloody Zombie Walk. Let just hope it doesn't rain. Been looking forward to the walk all week. The weather has been good so far, let just pray it stays that way.
I guess I'll probably go as regular Alice Len with no blood if that's the case.

Blood soaked (washable, with extra for re applying) zombies would be way more awesome to see on a walk. Less dry blood and more "I've been eating everything in sight, can't you tell by oozing red dripping out of my mouth?" *outshines* anything I can think of with the rules in place. I'm not too interested in dressing as a zombie, but watching would be totally cool. Hope everyone's costume/plans come out alright :)

So, I was in the area yesterday... there were some CUTE little girls covered in blood while wearing princess dresses. That was funny...

They were probably there were somewhat early. When I was there, it wasn't that packed; I could see someone doing that when I was there (but it didn't happen).

It was pretty awesome that people actually reconized Taikei and I as the Ouran twins! Most people were just like "OMG! Zombie twins! Awesome!"
