YES. Haley, Skylar, and I were just talking about this at school.
We're doing well at convincing Haley to be Beato. Then if Skylar and I are Bernkastel and Lambdadelta, we'll have the main three witches, plus I know you're going to be Shannon.

K-ON would be cool, I already agreed to be another group's Mugi, so that'll be easy :3 And I want to suggest we do a group outfit where Mugi has her hair down so I don't need multiple wigs.

Also Hazu lolol I told Dana to tell you that you were invited too since you don't have a facebook.

And I just made a facebook group lolol. That way I can get private messages out easier.
I actually have some people I want to invite, but I want to run them by the current members real quick.

I have no idea where it came from D: someone was talking about it on some random forum, and I thinking they said it was from the VN, or rumored to be in it, or something... if I can't find the source then I'll just do her normal outfit, since I wouldn't feel right wearing something that I have no idea is official...

also, I've only seen like 2 episodes of K-On!...too moe for me

Sounds like a cool subcategory... There are a lot of groups popping up already anyway.

Haley filled me in a bit, and... it sounds interesting... I guess I could join, why not :P

The persona games are basically dungeon-style RPGs combined with dating sims. In each you regularly grind and dungeon-crawl to prepare for the next boss, and you can power up your abilities and summons through your relationship with other characters, each of whom have their own stories, so it's cool to work through them all :P
Persona 4 has a much more... cartoony feel than P3, but it's a lot creepier at times *n* But it's cool. And... yessss. lolol if you guys (we?) decide to do that, we could have a meetup/sleepover to play through the beginning of the game and read the Big Long Persona comic 8D (whichjusthappenstobethefunniestthingevertoreadoutloud)

Significant other characters include Dojima, Nanako, Adachi, the Gas station attendant (lul you'll see why), Igor, and Margaret. I'll probably take up something that's left (... Although out of these I only like the Protagonist and Teddie xP) or a Persona.

Also updated the first post with our current group plans.

So for MEWcon I'll be wearing Anri, Slowpoke, and Roxy. Then at Sakuracon I'll have like... I think Princess Bubblegum, maybe Mugi, and Hatoko from Angelic Layer for a big group.

Oh and then at school Haley and I were talking about wanting to do an Alice Human Sacrifice group at some point. I wanna be Miku *_*

So today at Salvation Army I found a light yellow knit vest that's perfect for K-ON's summer uniform.
And I thought that my pleated skirt and white blouse would be perfect until I got home and saw that my skirt is totally the wrong color and the blouse is supposed to be short sleeved. Oh well.

Sure thing~ but I must warn you that I accidentally put it on my head crooked before I styled it xD so it might not be even if you wash it out. But I'm not even sure yet...I'm still pondering. I'm already gonna buy a new Miku wig, so I don't wanna replace two at the same time...

I actually have a ton of old clothes that I want to sell, all I need to do it take pictures of them.

So I'm actually pretty excited for Mugi. I'm still not sure of where I want to buy the wig, though. Usually I love Arda Wigs since I have a big head yet they fit, but their long wigs usually end up a tangled mess.
Cosplaywig has a cute Mugi wig, but idk if it'll fit my giant head.

There wigs are more tangle free and have volume.
They are also heat resistant so you could do custom styling. :>

They look/I hear they are amazing...

I'd want to do the regular outfit first since black is ~slimming~ and then I'd do the stripper version after I've lost weight. Although I'd want to use a corset too to make it look best...

Hahahahaha as I was typing that I was like "God I sound so much like Mugi!" but trust me they're nowhere near as fancy as Mugi's vacation houses. They're fairly large, but almost entirely made up of bedrooms.

But basically to get there we'd all need to bus/car up to Anacortes in Washington, which is North of Seattle. Then we need to either take a water taxi or get my grandpa to take us over in his boat.
I'd love to do it this summer, since I'll be 18. The only thing is that it's sort of a no-rules place, and people get drunk every night. Not me, but usually the adults.

Oh the island is so perfect for Umineko! There's this tide pool type thing with this big rock that's been shaped by the ocean. It's super easy to climb up on (I'm a total wuss and I can just hop right up) that would be beautiful for shots.

Well I live in Tigard, and like a ten minute walk from the nearest bus, which comes every hour. So public transport isn't good getting to my house.
However, Haley's six months should be up by then, and I think she'd be okay with driving you.

However however, I think a weekend would be best for that, so my mom could also pick you up from the BTC or wherever.

I already have four other costumes planned for kcon, but there's enough time before the con that my plans will probably change a lot. I'm up for planning a private shoot specifically for the Listen versions, and then I'm doing the summer uniform as well so that'll be my "too uncomfortable to wear a fancy costume" costume.

I haven't researched paint that much yet but I hear Ben Nye is a pretty good brand so I'll be looking into that more after MEW. Hnnnng Adventure Time is going to be my favorite group cosplay thing ever, I can feel it.

Okay, I have a friend who used full-body paint for a costume a while ago, I might ask her what the paint was since it stayed on her all day.

I already have a pattern for Bubblegum's dress, my grandma said she'll help me do a sewing project with fabric from Fabric Depot, so I think I'll ask for her to do Bubblegum's dress with me :D

All of those picture ideas sound freaking AMAZING (especially the Micky D's ones). Now I am super stoked for K-On cosplay fun times
seconding the "I love our group" you guys are awesome~

is Sakuracon only 3 days? plus Thursday since I usually wear cosplay that day as well..Because I only am for sure bringing Lala and Stella so I would totally be willing to scrounge a little summer uniform together for Mio. (my wig should be here soooooon!)

BEACH TRIP ~ It may be early to plan, but can we please not have it in the first week of August? I'll be in Disneyland then. I'm not taking summer classes this year though so any other time is good with me!

Katie were you thinking that we'd do AT for the rest of the day after K-ON! because I do believe that'd work for me.

Haley and I might be going to Japan with a group of other students from our school, so we also need to make sure that isn't in the way.

We should have an end of school year party though, like at my house. And we can eat candy and watch movies and stay up all night.

ALSO, SAHARA- Right now I'm hoping to do AT on the last day, since Haley wants to wear DWC the evening after K-ON.

Mkay, I might just wear it on both the first and third days, depending on when Maddy wears Hetalia and if me and Shay do timeskip Gurren Lagann or not.

When is AX, Haley's birthday and your guys' potential Japan trip? I don't know these dates automatically and we want to make sure we're all on the same page, haha.

Japan trip is 3 weeks if we go the route of the other group thing. from June 21st ish till July 7th. My birthday is July 14th and the day after is probably a no-go...at least in the morning (staying up late). And AX is July 1-4

I know that as of now Cristina and I are planning some Kuragehime cosplay. I just got a black wig that works for Tsukimi and she wants to be Kuranosuke (oh god did I spell that right), and I think Haley mentioned something about wanting to be on of the Amamizu-kan girls?

I'm not really stressed, I'm just super frustrated with the blazer fiasco.
< mfw I dye the blazer, get in huge trouble, wash it without the dye coming out, and put it in a super super delicate cycle in the dryer and end up with a gray blazer again

Btw anyone up for a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic group? :3c Shannon and Sahara, it'd be good for ComicCon.

I'm like 90% sure the summer trip will happen. I have to ask my grandpa about it but I really doubt he'll have any problems considering my aunts (his daughters) would have crazy parties with lots of underage drinking up there all the time and we're just there to take pretty pictures.

AND AUGH PROM DRESS. I'm going to TRY to make my own prom dress if I have time. I'm going to get a Marie Antoinette costume pattern and modify parts of it to make it more modern and prom-like.

What dates were we thinking for the summer trip again? I'll be in classes until August, and then the first weekend of August I'll be in Disneyland but after that I'm free. I could possibly sneak off during a weekend in July depending on what works for you guys.
