Yeah, I took an XTREME hiatus in July and August. That also had to do with my inability to go to meetings.

I actually post prett often, but I still kinda have found myself not liking the forums like I used to. Its like what you guys said, once a conversation has started, there's almost no way to get in it. A little less friendly.

this, normally I would occationally post but when I am feedin my wee one a bottle I have my left hand free and I am not left handed and max is in his grabby stage, he like going for the phone.
I get half way typin a post and max sends it, and since I have one hand I use swipe and the words it thinks I want and what makes sense are 2 very different things

So yeah, made it to wonderNW and was kinda meh, left a bit later, thought retro gaming expo was awesome but didn't stay too long. Took time off to goto newcon but instead stayed up playing games and watching anime.
I think I might be developing a problem leaving the house.

Kinda makes sense, when I was staff I would keep an eye on the forums checking meeting info and such and might see something, but now since I am back to a lifetime of regular attendee goodness, not so much, so like the rest of the forums will prob be on more the closer it gets to con. Also to see what events and such k-con might be at have a booth at etc, but it seems thats not posted as much, more said at meetings.

It's funny, the kumoricon people I read the most on tumblr and twitter, are the ones I saw THE LEAST at con!

Okay maybe not that...but I do agree on missing people. I'm in here a lot, but rarely have anything to post.

I wouldnt mind the group getting shut down... It's mostly drama anyways. and vastly unorganized in comparison, it's just not the same! I miss when we had a whole community talking daily :/

Yeah, I've never been very fond of the FB group myself. It's too scattered and easier for cliques to form over there (at least to my eyes). That might just be me turning into ConGramps though, lol.

I would be tempted to post them, but I am not staff and don't know all the details (and in some cases in the past they have wanted official con stuff to come from staff), or just answering questions in general.

Go for it! I know quite a few of the predominant old forumsters just left the Kumoricon scene altogether. I'm sure there are still some people around though.

Moved out of the area, moved on to new hobbies from AMVs, had a great time with K-cons for about 12-14 years, though.
Still watching a few of the current shows; I'm enjoying Bakamatsu, Konohana Kitan, Re:Creators, and Blend S. Recently finished Nora Neko, Juni Taisen, Hataraku Saibou, Youjo Senki, and Clockwork Planet.
