Okay, only a little after midnight.. so sue me ;)
Not a bad turnout guys... you pulled through at the end. Once again, we fell short of evil for a battle (c'mon, one of these days you guys gotta do it), so here we go again - Battle of the Sexes.

If we have time (and we round up a few more people) the alternates will make up the Red Team and will take on the winner of the first match.
As a reminder, all players must attend the mandatory pre-meeting at 10:30am Monday morning unless you have made prior arrangements with me. If you are not there by 10:45, you will be replaced on the board. If you have special attacks, they must be present as well.
If you are not on the list, and are hoping to be a part of the Red Team, this is the time for you to be waiting outside the door (pieces will be selected by 11am, if we are to have any). Remember, there are no guarantees there will be a second game.
If your cosplay is not complete, you may be replaced.
I will be emailing notifications out later tonite or tomorrow.. most likely tomorrow. If you have any questions, or decide you no longer wish/can participate, please let me know via e-mail or PM, or you can talk to me at con (someone is bound to know where I am).

last year I was Wedding Dress Yuna, the year before I was Dress Garnet. But the Jumpsuit then; good. Much easier to manuver and more easily recognizable. xD

xDDD I'll definately make sure to apply as Kayako then. I know how to do all her make-up, bloodied and non-bloodied version alike, I can twitch like her, sans the special effect frame skipping, and have practiced her croak...
Now to make it funnier by making a little toy plush of Toshio or grab a black cat plushie. xD
This'll be fun! I'm a piece that gets real movement! Queen was amazing two years ago, as was King, but the latter usually gets movement only in the latter half of the game and king is lucky to get a single battle. xD;;; Still amazing though.
Will there be enough for a second game, do you think? Pulling people for a red team, recycling/switching out pieces, changing out the losing chess master like last year, etc. Because I would so do chess master if so. I still remember how a losing pawn rose to Chess Master and beat our beloved Olivia last year.

My chess skills are a bit rusty, but I was on the chess team and when I was little was the first to beat my dad, an ex-chess champion, in a while. It earned me a hundred bucks xD

That's one of the Bleach characters I am not really familiar with...however I am very familiar with Zechs, the boy's Queen...I will enjoy beating you all.
And against Tamaki (BTW we should talk character interaction and such in the next few days Austen!) this should be quite amusing...though being in character will be um...interesting...(I don't normally play characters like Sakura, so this'll be be new!)

OUR King is the only woman to date to make it into her country's special forces, and survived multiple attempts on her life.

However, she's not sure which of her two cosplays are better. School Uniform Rukia from Bleach (Complete with Soul Glove. :3) or Maka from Soul Eater. (Complete with a GIGANTIC (but harmless) Scythe.)
