I have a friend that is going to con with me who didn't get registered in time but wants a full weekend badge...do tell!!

I pre-ordered my 3-day badge online after Aug 1st, so I think this piques my interest.

Are you ready for the next installment of K-con's 3 Day passes?
So here is the word right from the presses, (yes you can quote me on this)
"On Friday Sept 3rd at 6pm, I will be opening a separate line from the Pre-reg check in line, for selling of the remaining 600+ Three Day Badges."
Because of my short supply of staff there may be only one line staffed, by me. Therefore it may take up to 5 minutes per person, If you wish to speed it up, Please print of a copy of the Mail in Registration and have it filled out and ready to go along with the Parental Permission Form (if under 18). This will decrease the wait time to 1 minute per person.

Thats nice. I'm sure lots of people will appreciate it and I think if the badges sell out day 0 people will be upset day 1. But that is what they get for not checking the forum XD

I hope its not an issue as its been no secret that capping is a real possibility. It would be like forecasting rain then people not bring an umbrella and being mad about getting wet

I would expect that anyone interested in going to Kumoricon would have seen the cap on the front page...one can hope anyway...

Plastic badges will not be available friday night, I am sorry but, we will be using paper badges for the remaining 3 day passes.

Unfortunately no, the $40 price ended on the 15th.
The remaining 3 day passes will be sold at their full price of $45.00
It is still better and cheaper than waiting in a line each day and purchasing single day passes

Late Owl Convention Registration will open at 6pm, Location TBD.
So will you be at the parking garage entrance on the corner of SW Taylor and SW Broadway selling the rest of the 3 day passes on friday or somewhere else?

Sorry No. Just like last year the garage is closed. we have the dealers hall and gaming rooms down there.

Friday Night Pre-Reg Check In will open at 4pm and the line will be located at the parking garage entrance on the corner of SW Taylor and SW Broadway
Late Owl Convention Registration will open at 6pm, Location TBD
i'm confused
I guess just some clarification on where I need to be on friday to register for a weekend pass would be nice :D

Ok Here is an update
On Friday I will begin selling the remaining 3 day passes. This is a forum/email notification only event, It is not currently on the main web site. Therefore as of now the line may be short. We may decide to open it up to everyone between now and Friday.
At 6pm and NO EARLIER Please begin lining up at the Hotel's (South) SW Broadway entrance.
Please do not block any doors, walkways, or driveways. We are still moving into the hotel. If this becomes a problem I will be forced to close the line.

Due to the High volume expected, (Hard Plastic) 3 day passes will not be issued, instead we will have a 3 day paper badge.
Our Badge printers can not print at the speeds we will be taking registrations.

This is a nice feature.
Being that I didn't pre-reg this year, and whether I attend or not will probably be a last minute decision, this will be a good option for Friday, should I decide for sure.
Plus, Friday pre-sales seemed to do pretty well last year, so I'm sure it'll work fairly well this year.

Does anyone know what the payment options will be for at-the-door registration? I know cash is always an option but are credit cards as well? Credit is always so much lighter on the wallet. :)

Cash, check, money order. No credit cards.

Yes, if you pre-registered, you can check in any time in the weekend (that the registration desk is open). Even if at-the-door badges sell out, pre-registered spots are reserved.

Okay, so I am having a brain fart but is the location for buying the 3daypass the same location for those getting the prereg badges? it says TBD.. but i cant think of what that would be for some reason.. i think it is because of work.. lol.
is the registration form the same as the mail-in? so i can print it out here at home? duh, front page.

South entrance of the hotel (Broadway). Don't start lining up until 6 pm, and make sure not to block any passageways.
And thank you for getting the form printed and filled out ahead of time. :)
