Hey all, I wanted to ask some questions when it comes to Kumoricon. This will be my third year going (last year I went 1 day to buy stuff with my friend),I've never gone all 3 days and I want to really enjoy the whole event, and I've only gone with my friends. I wanted to know, since it seems like I'm going in on this one alone, what types of things can someone like me (a loner) do at Kumoricon? Like I said, going by myself, but don't know all the things I could do, just looking for advice, thanks all :)

When I'm ditched by my friends I like to
-take pictures of other cosplayers
-occasionally ask them questions about thier cosplay
-sometimes I ask if its ok if I hang with them for a little bit
-look around the AA and vendors
-go into some panels
-draw in the Creation Station
-read in the manga library
-and just walk around

i totally agree with what nyahaha said. i maybe in the same boat as my friend that is coming with me may bail at the last minute due to life stuff...be hes trying his hardest to make it. if you want you could meet up with me or us...but the best thing to do is to try to make friends and enjoy yourself...

Or, you could make some new friends and hang out with them! That's what i did :D

I guess that's my problem because I've always had the same friends for the past 10 years or so, I don't quite know how to make new friends at these types of events (I'm a really shy person so it's hard for me to talk to people I Don't know).
@ Lazy: That would be cool, problem is I have no clue what you look like, so it would be hard to find you lol. :P

imma be a loner at kumoricon too.. well for most part.. im going to be doing some staff work and than maybe my lil sister might come for one day and hang out with me.. so maybe imma going to wonder around and take pictures with everyone and maybe stalk a few cosplayers. rofl.. and yes check out the panels.
