Krizzy and I already planned the photoshoot to be Monday (3rd day) at 11:30. And we'll be meeting at the Starbucks near the Square.

We consulted with the people we knew how was going to do it.
But, is there a different time you guys are thinking?
I'd like it to stay on Monday if at all possible.

They use black graduation gowns. So if you know someone who had a school color of black or has graduated from college (they use black robes), then you can get them from there.

I am going to be Draco Malfoy (with talking/singing Rumbleroar backpack!)
Gryffinclaw Princess ---> Yaaaaaay!! We must have a Draco Duel. Are you going to be the first musical version? Or the sequel one?
Also, my sister (who's handle is "funkyhiei" but she's not on this site, will be going as Hermione Granger, most likely.) And there will be a Ginny and Harry that I know too. Ginny is Dru_Leppard and Harry will be her boyfriend, who doesn't have a handle.
I'm trying to convince my best friend to go to the shoot as someone, but she's being a meanie and not wanting to dress up! I'll try and convince her (I told her she doesn't have to pay for the con, just to show up for the photoshoot!)

As for which version, I haven't decided. I like how he rolls more in the first but I love his drawings in the second.
And if you want to wear a diaper I'm going to get some. I'm going to buy the smallest pack I can find so I don't have 30 diapers in the corner of my room. |D

PS For Fanfic Theatre in the Creation Station last year, I was the Luna with the lion mascot headdress. The day prior, I was the Luna with the Spectrespecs.

I don't know if I want any... If you bring them to the shoot, I might try one on. But my slacks I plan to wear don't really have room for a diaper (I knew I should have bought the baggier pair! Shoot!!)
We can also fight over my sister, who is going to be Hermione for sure now. I finally found her a Gryffindor tie. I've been thinking about making a cardboard spaceship to bring... If it turns out totally awesome, I will, and we can fly to Pigfarts in it with my Rumbleroar backpack (THAT CAN TALK... er... SING!)

I had considered that possibility, but I wasn't sure how that would be different from regular HP characters, except the very unique way they did Quirrell/Voldy. Well, have fun, and please sing.

Okay guys we need to talk about the shoot!
Monday is fine but we need to remember that that is also the day of Cosplay Chess (If it happens this year...).
Thus, we need to find a time around the chess match in case some of us attend that.
That would mean an early morning shoot.

I wouldn't mind waking up early, getting Starbucks and then heading out. Voldy needs his morning tea XD
And I can make a turbin. I have fabric that's closer to the color of his, so I'll make it from that. I just don't have enough to make a cloak...
Speaking of which. I have a Grad cloak if anyone wants to use it. Just tell me and I'll bring it. Since I don't need it of course...I'll be half naked XD

But we aren't certain because nothing has been said about it yet. They could change the time to earlier for all we know.
Plus, shoots can last a while if you really get into it. And if the group wants to hang out together for any reason and walk around con.

Daughter! I found the perfect thing for his turban! I think it's too dark of purple, but it'll match my cloak, so it'll work! And it'll stay on very well ^^

Would be nice before con, but I guess probably not, since con is almost here, and August is the time for last minute stuffs...

Cosplay Chess Meeting: 10:30am
Cosplay Chess: 12:00
Our Photoshoot: 11:30
Yeah, not happening... If any of us are in cosplay chess (which I hope to be), we won't be able to make the shoot.
It has to be earlier or later. I'd go for earlier.

As long as it's still Monday, I'm cool with a time change.
If it's on Sunday (the day of the skit) then that's cool too, but to make it less confusing, we should probably keep it on Monday.

And I totally agree for 9 am. this will be my only photoshoot that day and then chess, so I'll be good ^^
And I should be able to wash off if I'm not Voldy for chess (would be epic if I was him!)

I sadly know I will not be able to get my cloak done in time, meaning I will not be bringing Voldemort.
I will bring my makeup so I can do the combined version, but only if you're cloak is big enough for the both of us Ang...

So!
Since Pioneer Square is unavailable during Labor Day weekend (there's some other stuff going on there) we need to possibly find a new place for the photoshoot....
South Park Blocks is very woodsy and amazing, and it would be a good spot for a shoot of Harry Potter.

There's only one other photoshoot planned for the park, and it's not till 1PM. (Is our shoot still at 9AM?)

Anyways, I have another proposition.
Can we do the shoot after the cosplay contest instead? :/
Molly and I have to check our bags VERY early so we can get them in and not have to sit with them like last year.
And so we would have to carry around our HP cosplays for the rest of the day since we will be in our chess outfits after the Monday shoot.
Does anyone have issues with changing it to Day 2 after the contest?
I mean, most of us are in the skit anyways.

Aaaaand... Uhhhm.... Yes. I can do that. I was going to be Tomo (Azumanga Daioh) for that day, and just carry my Draco cosplay with me. Buuuuut.... I can change my cosplays around and be Draco Sunday and Tomo on monday. I'll tell Dru_Leppard and my sister.
