Title: Anyone know a BETTER image hosting site?
Post by: KHking on July 04, 2010, 03:36:11 pm
I really hate using photobucket and I am wondering if anyone has a better image hosting site?

Flickr is good, they host in super high quality, but that's more like deviantART than photobucket.

I double the vote for Flickr.

Do note that after about....250(?) images they will say that you can keep uploading photos but your oldest ones will not be shown anymore UNTIL you get a pro account for like...$20 a year or something, then once you go pro ALL of your photos will show.

Also Flickr has an upload limit per month unless you go pro.

I vote DA, since everything is free, unless you upgrade to premium [journal skins, beta testing, video upload, better print options, more profile features], but even then, there's no limit to what you can upload, and everything shows regardless of age.

I use DA, since I too hate photobucket, and flickr gave me problems.

Well dA is more for showcasing your work than image hosting. Flickr is a bit more lenient, I've seen things like magazine scans and website backgrounds there.

Actually what i use a lot for just hosting photos is Facebook lol.

I have a deviantart, actually.
I will take a look into flckr, as long as I can import pictures from the site right to the forums. Photobucket has a bandwith limit, which is annoying, since GIFs can be put up to the limit in minutes.
