As mentioned at the June meeting and in another thread (http://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=13096.msg598119#msg598119), we hope to elect someone to complete the current term as Director of Publicity at this meeting. The duties of this position are currently being fulfilled by the Assistant Director.
Following the meeting, there will be a brief training session over a portion of the staff guidelines.
After that, we'll break out the barbecues and have a good time! Dining options will include both vegetarian and otherwise.
General meetings are open to the public. Meet and plan with other staff, join staff or become a volunteer, and learn about open staff positions. Bring interested friends!
The "soft" deadline to register as staff is the July meeting, so don't delay!

Does anyone need help transporting stuff to the BBQ?
I have a 10' utility trailer i can bring.

Is anyone going to this months meeting from Vancouver? I'm thinking I need a ride because the ride I was going to get was from a friend who's currently in Japan and may not be back before then... ^^;

I've only been to one meeting prior to this one so I could be wrong but, the one I went to they were so kind as to provide food. So I'm thinking its the same with this one

:( dang missing a bbq! For some reason I had thought that the meeting was the 17th up until last week, not sure why now I wonder.
This is my husbands birthday weekend (chris kun is 32!) and we are spending it together,
have fun everyone!

I live right down the street from where the meeting is being held. So if you need any help setting up please contact me. I don't mind helping at all. I have a truck so if you need stuff transported I can help. ^^

There was going to be a Yoji training BBQ earlier this month, but it was canceled and the BBQ was held at this meeting.
It was fun :P

Phooey, missed the meeting. Life happened (on call; major high-severity issue forced me to work that day and hubby was wonderful sweeting being by my side.)

I also had to miss this meeting (2 days at the vet with beloved Kaylee-Kitty).
Anyone want to fill me in? Please? About Prog Breakouts, as well as the meeting & Publicity election?

I had to miss it, too, as did one of my clubmates who wants to sign up for staff. I believe that she still can at the first August meeting, which I do plan on attending.
