I noticed that in the karaoke contest rules, vocaloid songs aren't mentioned. Are they not allowed, or are they catagorized under J-Pop or somethung?

I'm not sure, since I kinda wanted to sing one myself. for the contest I mean. But I think that they count.

Vocaloid songs are usually in japanese and is concidered J-pop. And in the rules, both of those things are allowed. Even the english songs should be allowed b/c again, it's J-pop.

I actually sang a Vocaloid song for Karaoke Contest last year, and my friends and I are auditioning for hybrid this year with another vocaloid song. So yes, I'm fairly certain that they're absolutely fine. :)

Haru recently asked if I was still downloading, and asked if I could bring anything else that I'd downloaded as far as karaokes to the con, so I'm going to try to get the things you guys requested. :) Just so you know, if it's not listed in the book, it may still be on the computer! Just ask us! We can do a search for you!
In the meantime, if there IS anything else not on this list or already requested, feel free to request it up until August 31, 2011. I'm leaving to head up to Portland/Vancouver on Thursday September 1st, and there's no guarantee we'll have internet in the hotel room, so I'd rather be on the safe side. :)
