Title: Naruto 3, Kakashi's Reverse for Specials????

I was playing Naruto 3 for my Gamecube, and I was on the regular one player mode where you fight 10 battles, the last one ending with Itachi.  I was playing Rock Lee.

So anyways, I go up against Kakashi in the 9th battle.  I bust open the gates (and sometimes I didn't, but this time I did, and he's done this to me on both)...and I use my special, right after I teleport to him and am about to Up Kick him into the special, he uses his Sharingan, the gameplay stops for half a second. Then the special hits, but it's Kakashi who uses Lotus on Rock Lee!  Does anybody know how Kakashi can reverse specials like that??

Well, I've never played the games...

But according to the anime and manga it should apply to the games that Kakashi can use his sharigan to copy the move of the opponent.  If he has seen it before then most likely he could use it a bit quicker.  I guess the game figures since Kakashi has copied your move that he has delivered a hit to you although usually it should be neutral.

Basically it's his speciality as Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi.  To 'copy' the opponent's move.

Yes, Kakashi can copy quite a few characters specials. Sasuke's special (regular and Chidori, he taught it to him), Naruto's Hengen, Sakura's Inner Sakura(?!), Rock's Lotus, Zabuza's Water Assassination technique thing, and some others.  It's quite cool to see!

Kakashi copies by doing back + A when his Sharingan's activated and his chakra bar is full. It only works on vs mode, not in free for all.

I don't think his chakra bar has to be full.  I may be mistaken, but I could swear I've done it right after substitute countering.

his chakra bar doesn't have to have any chakra in it to be able to copy the specials

No, my friends and I found out the hard way. The reverse only works in Vs mode, not free for all.

The reverse special becomes usless the moment you just get a direct punch twice and use your special.
