Due to the resignation (viewable by logged-in staff only) (http://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=13094.msg598105#msg598105)of the Director of Publicity, a special election will be held on July 11 at our General Meeting in Salem (venue and details forthcoming). According to the bylaws (http://www.kumoricon.org/files/bylaws/documents/bylaws-amended_2009-08-22.html), the person elected at a special election completes the remainder of the term (Article 7.C.5).
Nominations for Director of Publicity to complete the 2010 convention year:
Misty Knight (accepted)
Jon Bressler (accepted)
John Krall (declined)
Nominations made here prior to July 1 will be printed on the ballot. Further nominations may be made, but they must be voted by write-in.

If I do not, I an thankful and appreciative of the nomination, and I graciously accept the nomination of Director of Publicity.

Thank you Ellen. I have accepted and have been standing in as Director since Cassie resigned. I was working as Cassie's assistant prior to her resignation and have done my best to step in and pick up where she left off. It does help that I've been working in publicity since shortly after the convention in 2007. :-)
