Title: Is there going to be a mascot contest for the 2011 mascot?

I was kind of noticing based off the previous postings of the mascot contest that usually the contest has been posted by this time. I also noticed that the contest page on the main page of Kumoricon says there MAY be a mascot contest. I would like to know, what's the scoop on all this? I've been working on an entry, and I would hate to have made it entirely for not. :(
