Well, I just got back from AX and lemme just say that cosplay gatherings (eg a gathering of all FMA cosplayers, or all FF cosplayers, etc) are FUN.
So is anyone setting any up? And if not, we should =D

Trying my hardest to set up a Survival Horror video game cosplay gathering, but I've been mostly ignored :? So . . . yeah . . . I'm still game for it.

the gatherings i organized never had a theme, it was just go as yer self and cosplay if u want lolx. some peoples dont like a certan theme liek me and Harry Potter dont mix lolx

You know I've been racking my brain for so long trying to think of a character with long red hair I could cosplay and it just occured to me this MORNING.

ron's oldest brother has long red hair and a tooth earing. All I need is a special clip on, a wand, and some good wizard type robes! Best of all it's totally easy to put on!

I'm setting up a Yunapalooza, since there's going to be many, many Yunas.
But I'm the only Gunner ^^ Tee hee.
We're going to fight over Tidus and Shuyin. It should be a good photo op.

haha i was gonna go as Yuna(gunner, songstress or white mage most likely gunner because i have part of it done...but got lazee and stopped) i am Yuna-Fanatic but i settles down since I have been working alot due to the band -___-

You sound like a good person to ask this question of.
So I always fantasized about putting together an original design costume-- a techno-assassin sort of look --and handing out cards to people dressed as Yuna/Chii/anything from Naruto/etc.
The cards would say: "You have been assassinated by the over-cosplayed character assassin!"
But see, I'm worried that people might take me seriously and be all offended. Like, I don't want to put them down because I'm sure they put a lot of work into their costumes, but I love poking fun and stuff like that.
So if you were dressed as Yuna and someone handed you a card like that, would you be offended, or would you find it funny?

Hmm, I dunno. I mean, Dijiko is one of those costumes that people have been doing for years upon years, but usually like 3-4 at a time.
I mean, you never see a big batch of a dozen Dijikos like you see, say, Yunas, Eds, Chiis, etc.
