Hey so i figured that for kumoricon 2010 we could have a World meeting with the Hetalia characters. So far i know that we have a few people interested.

Maybie the last day would be good? I mean the first and second day EVERYONE is going to be doing EVERYTHING on those days xD I remember from last year that on the 3rd day that everything started to realy calm down and most people were off doing their own thing. So maybie the last day for like a "ending of Kumoricon" thing.

Oh man... I should actually watch more APH before con, hmm? I've only read the strip Seychelles first appears in, the Christmas special, and the Civil War strip. xD And the only episode I've seen is France going over his sad war history.
But we have been doing the french revolution in Humanities... and with two huge APH fans sitting on either side of me all period... I hear lots of giggles and stories. xD

I was thinking the same place that we (we as in you guys because i wasn't even cosplaying as a Hetalia character last year o-o;) had the Hetalia photoshoot(yes i saw you guys do that). You know in that big room?

Just dropping in to say you don't want to plan anything ever for that hallway/lobby area. It's not an actual event space. We only managed to have the shoot in there because a bunch of Yojimbo were really nice and willing to let us crack set up there after our park blocks shoot got rained out. And even then, actually having an event there was really difficult. Because it's a hallway, you have to deal with a variety of fire code regulations, making sure people can move freely in an around whatever you're doing.
Instead, what you guys want to do is submit this as an official panel so you can get a real space for it.
Go here, (http://www.kumoricon.org/documents) scroll down to the bottom where the panel forms are. You only have until June 5 to fill this out, so hurry! If you don't get an actual panel, I'd suggest organizing an outside-of-con-space meetup. Your best bet is the park blocks, since there's generally not as many people there as Pioneer Square. You can run around and be as crazy as you want without making the rest of the con-goers/population of Portland angry about how Hetalia cosplayers behave in public in general. And if you have a real panel, people who aren't on the Kcon forums will find out about your meetup and have a chance to show up and hang out.

About topics? hmm....Well, on topic about the world meeting. I was thinking we could we could do some little In-character moments. You know? Like...France randomly walking around the room and trying to molest everyone (not realy xD) or two of the countrys randomly getting into fights wile staying in-character (like if we get an England, he would be yelling out something like "YOU BLOODY WANKER!!" or Prussia yelling out, "Well at least I have five meters!!" *OTL*)
I was also thinking at one point(if i can find my tube of fake blood from Halloween), Russia would go around and try to make all of the countrys become one with him and everyone would be all "hell no!", then after that, Russia would walk out of the room, there would be a loud painful scream from outside of the room (hopefully we can get someone to scream loudly for this xD), and Russia would calmly walk back into the room with his pipe covered in blood, sit down, and say something like "now where were we? ehe~!"

i'm sorry i couldn't come (chibitalia here) i was over worked at the pre-reg table all last day so i had NO free time to go with you guys =( we REALLY need ppl to STAFF next year because we were REALLY understaffed this year (worse than last year) and i MEAN really REALLY understaffed that ppl were OVER worked.
if you guys are willing to help us all please EMAIL us asap! cuz we really do need the ppl! especially next year since we will have more ppl coming! thanks!

A lot of the Hetalia cosplayers who got kicked out were saying the same thing. But there wasn't really anything to be done for it. Sometimes firecode sucks bad. ' x '
