Title: Indecisive author is indecisive...
Post by: Spifferiffic on March 24, 2010, 09:10:10 am
I am debating submitting the story below for Fanfic Bedtime Stories:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5285226/1/Lay_Your_Weary_Head_to_Rest (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5285226/1/Lay_Your_Weary_Head_to_Rest)

Mostly because I love the lullaby in it a lot, many people have never heard it, and I am willing to sing it for an audience.  I'm just wondering whether anyone is interested in being subjected to hearing it.  Also, am I taking the "Bedtime Stories" thing too literally? XD

I am also open to any opinions on submission of other pieces:

Right now I'm thinking "Sanji's Spinner," but I might go back and go over "Sticky Situation" with a fine-toothed comb for a novella length submission...

Hi, I'm Kate the FanFic Coordinator this year.

We always want entries for FF Bedtime Stories, and we don't often get filk or song fic, so I would definitely bring it with you.

Also, FF contest rules will be up as soon as Jaki reviews them next week. So make sure to read through those before submitting your novella entry!

The fanfic rules should actually be up this weekend, huzzah! And filks and song fics absolutely are welcome (as are fics of most genres and styles). If your content is adult and you are not a minor, you can bring it to our Adult Fanfic Bedtime Stories event. Otherwise, please note that the same item can be both a submission in our contest and read (or cosplayed!) at Bedtime Stories. Because I'd encourage you to do both, I don't want to click your links; as one of the judges, I can't steer folks as to what to submit or not to submit (other than for length, deadline, or ratings), nor beta their pieces. Looking forward to your participation!
