Will the DDR pads be the same ones from last time? I really hated them. Were they only 30x30 instead of 33x33? They seemed small...
Perhaps someone could make some for the con? I made my DDR pad for under $100 and it works beautifully.
I liked the first year of Kumoricon. My best memory was walking up, seeing the DDR machine and feeling all bubbly because I didn't need 25 cents to play anymore!

You can make DDR pads? O.o Im not good with the differnt names of the types of DDR pads but it would be awesome if someone could bring those one kind where, lets see, how to describe it...its not metal but its like huge and soft to jump on. Almost like 3D, padded type thing with a zipper? Well that description sucks...maybe someone will get it.

@ Takmai
I don't know for sure which pads we will be using this year. We primarily used 2 Cobalt Flux hard pads last year - we had a Red Octane hard pad as well but a few wires got cut (eek), and it wasn't serviceable for long. I believe Cobalt pads are a bit smaller, though, I believe, evenf only because they don't possess a border on the outside of the tiles (I sprained my ankle cuz of those things once, and I will never get on one again). You wouldn't think that 1" per square would matter that much, though...

I know what your talking about but I don't know the name either. Yeah, I like those the best, mine are cheapy from ebay.

I have those, but I really can't recommend those for tournament play. They lose accuracy if you play on them too much in one day because the foam gets compressed or something (not sure exactly)
For totally fair tournaments, you gotta have good machines.

Cobalt Flux sucks....insane cock. You can never tell where you are on them >.> personally Red Octane is the best way to go. sure..... they can't withstand being run over by a car....but honestly now....who is going to get their pad run over by a freaking car..... of course this is just an opinion and everyone has their own...but non the less.... Red Octane all the way!!

I agree Jew

Yes I bet you do >.>

Yeah, CF does suck insane cock.
I'm an arcade DDR pad purist ._. Any pad that's not arcade = inferior for Perfect Attack.
