Title: The Slants CD Release Party! Brand new album!
Post by: Simon Young on January 15, 2010, 06:32:32 pm
Hi everyone,

We're really excited to let you know about our brand new album, "Pageantry." More dance, more rock, more chinatown than ever before.

To help promote it, we'll b on the road for the next three months with shows from Seattle to Houston, San Diego to Boise, and everywhere in between. Our tour homecoming will be the official cd release party at Dante's on March 27th in Portland, OR. We would LOVE for you to be there!

For details, visit our Myspace page at myspace.com/theslants

Want to hear some of the new tracks? We'll be uploading several brand new songs on Thursday, January 21st!

<3

Where can we buy it?

You'll be able to pick it up at any fine indie record shop (in Portland: Music Millenium, everyday Music, Q is for Choir, Green, etc) or online at ITunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, theslants.com, CD Baby, and more!

Though really the best way is to get it directly from the band at a show ^^

That's the only way I've done it so far.

All of our albums are supposed to be on iTunes now but I'll check with our distributor. You can get the album direct on theslants.com or on Amazon.com though:

That was a very flattering article written about you guys in the Portland Tribune last week. I hope it really sparks interest in the band. Maybe you guys will be the next Kingsmen, or Quarterflash, NuShooz, Everclear, local band makes the big time.

Thanks! It was a great article and reviews of the new album have been stellar...so who knows? Maybe! We'll certainly keep on trying to do what we do and spread the love of Asian culture
