Title: Inuyasha skit for 2010
Post by: TurboSaiyanJason on December 26, 2009, 11:49:10 am
This one feels like a winner.
I would need the following cosplays and people to wear them:

Inuyasha: TurboSaiyanJason (me)
Miroku: Friend of HatakeGirlX
Kagome: Pai009
Sango: HatakeGirlX

Optional segment
Naraku: Lin
Kikyo:

Cleanup Crew
Shippo:
Wind spirit:

Optional segment after Naraku/Kikyo if there's time near the end.
Sesshomaru:
Rin:
Random Cosplayer Fangirl army:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Simply, Inuyasha and Miroku get into an argument with each other, then a fight which escalates to a life-or-death struggle. Before they could finish the fight, Kagome breaks in and complains that Inuyasha's fighting without a shirt and drags him away by his hair. Sango pulls Miroku offstage by the ear as well. If there's room at the end, Naraku appears onstage and boasts that he doesn't have anyone telling him what to wear, and shows off the spider mark on his back. Ironically, Kikyo subdues him with an arrow and laughs as she drags him off.

The humor of this skit is fan service for the girls.
If I can, I'd like to have personal stage ninjas dressed in black to operate effects as wind spirits, and a Shippo to pick up the clothes and stuff left behind, and chase after everyone.

Also if there's time near the end, I'd like to amass an army of fangirls, specifically for chasing after Sesshomaru.

Thanks. I think I'll need it. Though once it gets closer to the epic three days, I'm sure people will start turning heads to this area. By then I'll have the script and sound worked out.

Ah I see! Sure count me in! I will just have to do a good wrap and I will do a latex tattoo of the spider.

If you don't mind that the Kagome is a little heaver set, I could be your Kagome. I'm trying to figure out how to enter my costume into the workmanship part of the contest anyway, and a skit sounds like fun too.

BTW the description of the skit made me lauph when I was reading it =>.<=

Then you'll be a great addition. I have another Kagome in the works, but I'll keep her as a backup.

Thanks, I've never been in a skit or even in the workmanship part of the compitition. I tried last year with my Kurama costume, but I messed up a little on the costume, so that kind-of went overbord.

Thanks, I'll be their. I've already preregistered, and I can't wait.

I'm planning on hitting the gym or fitness classes at PCC so Inu can be the mighty smexy doggie that he is. Also I have glasses but I only need them to read, so I won't be wearing them onstage.

The skit is written. I sent a copy to Hatake. If you PM me your e mail I can send a copy to you.

So now that we're drawing closer to Summer, when would be a good day of what month to get together for a first practice?

I don't have my costume made, but any day except Mondays and Thursdays are good for me. I just need at least a week's notise, so that I can plan ahead.

Bonus feature to the skit. Sesshomaru and Rin appear after Naraku is dragged away by Kikyo, boasting that a Pure Demon doesn't have the weakness or misfortune of being dominated by females unlike the half-breeds or humans.

Seeing no one else around, he kicks up an "I'm too sexy" dance to the song, when suddenly he hears a loud "FLUFFY!!" squee followed rapid footsteps being made by rabid fangirls. He bolts offstage just as about 5-10 fangirls run in. One asks where he went, and Rin, innocent and honest, points in his direction. One girl yells "charge!" and they run off screaming. Rin shrugs and skips along with a "la la la" offstage.

Epic finish to an epic skit. Question is though, can we get a Sesshomaru, Rin and 5-10 random cosplayers, and will there be enough time?

Lol I like that ending. And it's not that hard to memorize either. For anyone who dose those parts.

Our first meeting couldn't have gone any better. Second meeting will involve a run through the script using miniatures, to see how long the segments would take, then shave off as needed. Tuesday the 11th is our next one.

A lot has happened between May 11th and now. The positions are still available, but for now I've devised a backup version involving Inuyasha and Kagome.

So anyone who wants to feature their Kagome cosplay and gang up on Inuyasha at the end, post your interest here.
