No..My dad isn't the person to buy lots of games. Considering they cost 60 bucks.
*NOTE* This counted as my b-day present and Christmas.
Although I am just going to keep on playing this and unfortunatly im not at my house right now.

I do have a warning, the game is depressingly short. Found this out recently. Felt like I should be 10% done with the game, found out I'm 1/3 done with it. There's a sequel in production but to find out the single player is so limited was severly disappointing, even if the online content it very fun.

Nice, I'm totally enjoying it too. Right now, I've got a lv15 or so, longsword user(Have katana, will travel).
And the storyline may be short, but there's so much additional stuff as far as sidequests.. bonus material.. when you new game plus, there's higher level gear in some of the chests. Plus there's rebirth.. once you hit lv50(the max, if I'm not mistaken), you can rebirth, which takes you back down to lv35, all your abilities are reset and you're given all ability points, with an additional 40.. of course, you can only rebirth 4 times, but still.. can you complain with hitting lv50 for the 5th time, and having 160 extra ability points? You can master your primary weapon, get all the passive stat bonuses from other weapons, and still have some skill points leftover.
Anyway, my PSN is LimeTheDragon, for those who dont wanna go back to page one.. I'm pretty much playing nothing but White Knight Chronicles at the moment. And I got myself a fancy Jabra Stone bluetooth earpiece, so I can chat online, if anybody else has a mic.

Just as excited as I generally am for a final fantasy, going to camp it every hour I possibly can the prior day it comes out. I can't say XIII versus LOOKS better since I've not seen gameplay, solid story information, or various character information besides noctis, but I'm certainly still more excited for it due to the staff for it.

I'm slightly disappointed that I have an old fat PS3, and whatever the heck is going on with the PSN right now, is affecting about 95% fat PS3s. And 5% slims.
It sucks.. cant even play games with trophies offline.

Yeah I heard that too, but how similar, and how it'll play out are yet to be determined, again just hoping for the best. It has every chance to be a great game and at the same time every chance to disappoint that much more.

I have the old backwards compatible 80 gig and no problems :3. My only concern is one day I'll run out of room due to rockband since I think 10gig is taken up by rockband XD.

Annnd, checked some stuff about which system are pre-ordering XIII for, seems they're leaning PS3 at my gamestop at least, 61 360, 212 PS3. I proclaimed "HUMANITY HAS HOPE!" upon gathering that tidbit of knowledge.

They fixxed the problem about 3:30 today.
I know.. actually, Sony didn't do anything except post a blog and sit on their arse.. the issue was in the hardware, which thought they were a Feb 29th, while the OS knew there wasn't. So they lost sync for 24 hours, and after that, the hardware kicked over to March 1st, and all was fixed.

I know, right? I was somewhat skeptical of White Knight Chronicles, but after looking up some screenshots, and reading up on it a bit, i went for it, and behold, awesome game.
I'm probably gonna wait on FFXIII though, until I can get some extra reward points at Best Buy or something.. if I get FFXIII now, it's only gonna split me off from WKC, and I'm enjoy that so far. GR6 now.. GR7, and the Georama mage gear, here I come! Of course, it'll suck getting the 355k guilder money stuff I need to get my georama to lv7, which is the lowest you can get 50/50/50 mage stuff. >.<

Finally gets close and game stop guy says "who was first!?", everyone points at me, guy looks confused and my roommate says "you blatently cut us dudes". Long story I got first copy and love the game so far o_o, played 14 hours straight last night. This'll be among my favorite games ever no doubt but dunno where yet.

I'm so glad to hear such good feedback from this game. I'm mean before it's release there where so many haters on this game. Makes me happy that after all these years there's still a franchise that can continue to make such high quality games.

seems i need to update my system which i refuse to do cause i dont want to lose the linux option
but its weird cause a week ago i was able to log in with out updating with no problem

yep found out what the problem was over at playstation forums
seems i need to update my system which i refuse to do cause i dont want to lose the linux option
but its weird cause a week ago i was able to log in with out updating with no problem
PSN requires the latest firmware to log in. If the firmware wasn't released a week ago, that's why you could log in at that time.
Either way, you have 2 solutions for this scenario: 1) you buy another PS3, and keep it up-to-date, or 2) you realize even linux can't utilize the PS3's hardware very well, and just upgrade firmware.

My name is in my sig...would have preferred Cyprus but when we first got our PS3, there were no trophies or anything like that lol. G/F bought it for $600 back when it first came out & there were like 8 games out lol. After trophies started coming out, never thought to make a new account with my normal gamer name & by the time it did cross my mind, there were too many games to replay...so I just kept using Tekia.

Wow I am deep in pregnancy ADD I thought I was in the thread about psn being down.
Any ways, for peeps talking about getting ps3, I would recomend waiting till black friday time, or christmas time in general. Its pass the "got to get it" stage and there are some good deals like a 50$ gift card. One year there was a 54'' sony tv on sale for a good price and on top of that it came with a free ps3. Long story short, my younger brother is very happy

I've been enjoy LBP and inFamous. Glad I never bought either game, saved me a good $50-$60.
