Hello All,
I thought that since some of you might not know if you're interested in being staff that I should post a general, "come by a general meeting and see what you think". If you're on the fence and think you want to help out, but aren't sure, come by a meeting.
We're on the University of Oregon Campus, in Chiles 125. General meetings are held at 6:30pm on Thursdays.
For those of you who don't know, Chiles is the building on the Corner of 13th and Kincaid, Directly across Kincaid from the UO Bookstore. Parking can be troublesome, but most of the meters turn off at 6.
Stop by, ask a few questions, etc. We can always use more staff, and meeting with us is probably the best way we have of convincing you that staff work can be fun and rewarding... that is, after all the hard work. :-)
We are planning on having General Meetings up in Portland soon, and I will post more when that information is available. We may also schedule a general "get to know th staff" gathering sometime relatively soon for those that don't want to be staff, but do want to meet us. Heck, it's a good way for us to coerce (errr, I mean talk) you into being staff.
