Heya,
I will have a more formal list of staff openings up later, but for now I am curious as to who may be interested in being my assistant. AnimeMatrix has been great, but I am hoping to train up a potential opponent/replacement. It's always good to have at least two people in Kcon who can do each job. So, if you have interest, lemme know.
Also, if you are interested in learning the ropes in a more minor role, talk to me. Let's build a great department with people working in it year to year :)

The one area where I am very low on staff right now is dealer's hall. This staff position tends to have very set hours, you walk around and hang out with the dealers, check badges of people coming in and sit at the 'office booth' next to the door in case you are needed. It looks like I have a manager and assistant lines up for this, but I would love for them to have 2-3 rovers to poke around, give them bathroom breaks and the like. This is a great position for a small group of friends who want to staff Kcon together.

Out of curiosity what is involved in Relations? I want to be part of a team but don't really know where to go into. I am interested in Maid squad but I want to be part of the staff as well..

Yes, same as above, I would like to help out, does that include maid squad at all? Or perhaps even a 1 day help out time? Any sort've help to the con I can give would be great.

Yeep, looks like I was slow in replying to this. If you are still interested, let me know. Perhaps during times when you are free you could just shadow me at con and see how the department works first hand. Then, you will have a good working knowledge of what you might want to do for next year.
If either of you can make a General Meeting, come and talk to me about it :)

The more dealer's hall staff the merrier :) Just come to a meeting and sign up. Hopefully, once I have a good amount of dealer's staff signed up, I can round you all up and we can have a meeting and talk about how we want to run things.

sweet. okay. well i was trying to contact brandon from operations, but he hasn't responded to me since this weekend ;A; so i wasn't sure if i was still being considered to being part of his staff or if i can just start looking in a different department. >.< so yea. when's the next meeting? is it posted on the site?

It will be the weekend of May 16th.

yea i saw, but have u guys decided if it's gonna be in portland or vancouver? cuz i might not be able to make it to vancouver, unless i can get a ride ;~;
