seems that a magic the gathering manga will be serialized soon. What do people think?

no, more like "i have been playing this game for almost 10 years, and changing the rules makes things inconvenient, and makes it a different game all together"

I know they added rules(new mechanics). made things easier to understand (http://www.ugmadness.net/index.php?date=2005-07-11). but did they ever totally change how the game is played? You still take turns, tap lands for mana to cast creatures and spells right?

Just the concept. I think Magic's flavour text conveys the story and the atmosphere just fine. The art is actually cool in my opinion.

i also don't know if you have seen the oversized "Plane" cards yet, but they break the metagame.

Yeah originally I was gonna talk about this but there is another thread covering this stuff. I think this is beyond the scope of this topic.

yeah, i kind of thought about that while posting it, but she asked, so i answered.
