OK all, who has seen Astro Boy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0375568/)? What did you think? I went and saw it today and I really enjoyed it! I am not going to post any spoilers, :-X but I will say that it had a bit of an Americanized feel to it. It was also a little hard to get used to the definite English accent that Toby/Astro (Freddie Highmore) had. I also felt that Donald Sutherland was a little soft spoken for the evil villain General Stone. I loved the one liners and visual gags that littered the script, and I enjoyed watching the show. The pacing was pretty good. Maybe a bit slow at first, but most movies are. All in all I enjoyed it a lot more than Transformers. ::) I haven't seen DragonBall or SpeedRacer, :-\ so I can't compare to either one. It is worth the price of admission. Go see it! ;D

You can't LIE to me. I saw the previews. Nicolas Cage is in this.

I wonder if David Warner had a chance at Sutherland's role. He has a wonderful evil voice. Even when he is playing a good guy.

I NEVER REALLY UNDERSTOOD THIS ANIME WHEN I SAW IT ON KIDS WB.
