This also been postponed but if you want to go still some of us are still planing on it but spaces are limited If we have more drivers more can come
So I did this last year and I was asked by a lot of people to do it again. So I am getting a head start on it. So maybe we could even do this during Spring Break or just keep it after the last day of school....

Peterkort Shopping Center at 8:50 to let me know you are there then we leave at 9:15 at latest.... SUNSET Transit peeps be at Transit by 8:35- 8:40 I am leaving there at 8:42
On the way home, we will go to the DQ or Camp 18 (really good photo shoots)... or both...
PEEPS that are NOT riding in the two main cars and want to get on with some of our fun call me or text me at 503-784-3588 ... And will will let you on to where we are....

Well I would vote for spring break. I am planing on a trip to Enchanted Forest for the end of school.

I do too... I just looked at the dates and Mar 22 to Mar 26 is Spring Break for TTSD... and the end of school is June 17 (if no snow closures )

Far from it. It's up near Sunset TC off of Barnes Rd.
Also the end of Spring Break might be something to celebrate for me personally. It's around the time when the pool noodle starts hitting stores again.

I really want to come to this last year. The last one was right before I started using the forums, so I missed it.
I'll need to figure out what days I'm not busy, but I'm going out of town for spring break, for most of it.

Super yes we had a great time last year.... Some people when they left they went to some ones house and watched movies... some went to Camp 18 and fell in and lost flip flops .... I fell asleep in the back of my van with Josh at Dairy Queen on the way home

Can we get an address of where it is we are staying, if it's not at some one's beach house. I see a few directions but not vary specific.
Can you update the original post when you get new info, I see a few developments but its way easier if new info is changed up top so people don't have to dig through the whole thread. :)
Maybe we could get a list of things we know we will do and other things we might do during the stay.

i was thinking this as well, but then i realized that if the post said nothing about hotels, and staying overnight, we are probably not staying overnight.

Ah okay, so a one day trip, if i missed it being said somewhere whoops. But are yall going to have a bunch of things to do or just decide that morning/when you get there? Beach outings can be great, but I've had some less then exceptional days there too because we ended up doing nothing for whatever reason. Is this area the one near that huge arcade? I know most of the major places have a decent shopping strip too if people want to walk around. We would probably be too late for sand dollar and shell finding, but the time would depend on when the tide is low, I think that's usually morning/night.

Ok last time we left around 9:30... This time if people are up to it I say we leave at 8:30.... Well last year after we got there we meet up at the turn around and then went our own ways this year I hopefully can get people to do Sand Castle.... and other things on the beach as a group...

Nah, it's a roomy gear. What's painful is when it's the other way around. :P
If I do get to take the epic van we might have to take the last seat out and put in the one in front of it rather than give you the giant leg room space. I have a feeling we'd need to be taking coolers full of snacks.
I vote that we drive south to Tillamook on the way back so that we can get ice cream at the Tillamook cheese factory. That's the best way to end a trip to the coast!

This is true.
I know plus-one's car will survive for 2 reasons.
1. her current car (her moms car) is awesome, and lives through anything
2. she doesn't actually have a car yet, but is looking to buy one, and most likely won't get one until around the middle to end of winter.
im pretty sure at least one of them will survive.

ALSO One thing love about Seaside there is a ton to do there and it is a great spot to hang out..... I think Tillamook is about 30 miles South of Sea Side... if a group wants to go down then we can talk about it.... but I probably would have to raise the gas money...

The older you get the faster it seems to go, enjoy the slow down. We elders (lol by like 5 years or so) have a hard time getting to watch time, as it is usually throwing us at something needing to be done all day long.

You are the only definite drivers, maybe? I'm pretty defiant when I'm behind the wheel.
Tillamook is on the scenic Wilson River Highway and that's a pretty easy connection back to sunset highway by way of Banks (a little town North of Forest Grove for you Portlanders). Trust me when I say it's not that far out of the way when you're going to the coast. I can tell you right now that if my van drives to Seaside, my van drives to Tillamook afterwards. I wouldn't be paying people gas money anyway.
If the rest of y'all can afford it then that's OK. You just won't get your picture taken in front of the milking machine.

Also if your Character has a sign like Sasuke Uchiha has his family crest on him you should put that in the beach version... Also getting the outfitt ready really get into to character to figure out WHAT your character would wear....

Beach Mario would end up in one of those old fashioned "bathing suits with the stripes and the shoulder straps.". If you make overall shorts without a shirt it just makes you look naked. :-\

You will never be a better singer than me... You keep dreaming in your own little fantasy world, Ranka. Just because you shoot for the moon doesn't mean you'll end up amongst the stars. A beach Hike does seem like a lot of fun, as long as it's nice out or the scenery is good. I'm not sure how the scenery could look bad at the beach, so just about anything would work, too. I remember getting up at like 5am for a little hike to see the low tide sea creatures by a rock formation when i was little, that kind of stuff was so fun!

The best time for a beach trip is more like july, when its warm and doesn't rain at all. I do however think show at the beach would look cool. Freezing and you could not get wear skimp clothes but still would like to see the beach covered with snow and such.

@nekovamp If you had the time, and lived anywhere close to portland, I could blow a whistle at you all evening after school to get you into shape. Or there is always something a lot more fun to do then regular exercise that can get that chainmail bikini wearing bod together. I think I've run across a picture of you, or maybe it was your avatar one day, and you didn't look like you needed to lose any weight. Perhaps just tone up?

For volleyball, I can not lie.... the sweat, the tan, the firm youthful body of an athlete. On both sexes such a sight is quite pleasing. It shows the basic nature we have adapted to in selecting a being to further our chances of survival, and fulfillment of life.

I think we could go into town nearby and shop, ride atv's (if present), fly kites (I likes a good kite flying session), hide and go seek with mock fighting, swimming, hikes, photo shoots (a lot of different shot options at the beach). We could also have a big lunch/dinner with roasting stuff on a bonfire. A fireworks show. There are lost and lots to do, that is some of the things that I do.
And yet we still have all those idiots >.>
That is because all those idiots/lazy people don't do anything but %@#$, leaving us with too many of them and not nearly as many active people.

I'm humbly withdrawing my cosplay of Luffy and his search for the one piece, as well as Riku and his part in the swimsuit judging. v_v
My reason for pulling these out of line is simply that I'd feel like I'm cosplaying them for the wrong reason.
If later on I see that they can be useful and effective, I may put them back in. But for now they'll go into a list of cosplay maybes that I could come as. Gaara is one of these maybes if I can get him done.
If there is still room on one of the competing sides of Dead or Zombie: Epic Beach Volleyball, then I'll simply commit my efforts to helping my team achieve Epic Win while the other team achieves Epic Fail, in the spirit of the game of course. 8)
Edit: And I'm down for crashing in a hotel at the beach, where the sand and wind can't reach our hair when we sleep. Though I might be camping on the floor in a sleeping bag if I can foresee arrangements. But since I can't, then anything's possible.

Also, I noticed that you were talking about people possibly driving if they get their license on the 10 of March, but there is that time period where they can't have anyone in the car but family (its like three months or something like that). The problem I am seeing is sure the person driving might not care but the parents of the person driving probably will.
