Hey I have everything I need for my costume, cept my school girl skirt. Does anyone have a pattern or a way to make a skirt, cause I don't want to buy one. just reply if you have one... I just need the name and I'll buy it.

Hokay! Listen carefully class! This is how Nocti makes a school girl skirt!
1. Take the fabric you want to use, and cut it so that it is 3x the width of your waist.
2. Hem that motha! XD
3. Lay it out flat, and with a threaded needle (I recommend a tapestry needle) make little pleats, however thick or skinny as you want by folding it like a paper fan. If you messure the thread to your waist, you can get the perfect amout of pleats. Knot the thread at both ends when you're done.
4. Baste stitch the pleats, and you're ready to ad your closures, and hem the top!

lolx, box pleats work very nicely! i used to make skirts with knife pleats but i moved ont o box pleats and i am liking the result better ^_^

I wouldn't think you would want to be glomped in a school girl skirt, especially a hand sewn one. Too vulnerable to costume accidents, no?

Actually, that goes for just about all cosplay, come to think of it. ^_^;

school girl skirts are just cute ^_^ i got mine at the stores though T_T they're just as good though, and you can find a lot of really cool stuff at thrift stores, like Goodwill and Value Village ^_^ its amazing how much stuff you can find there ^_^ thats where i got some of my school girl skirts ^.~

Seconding goodwill-- I got one of my schoolgirl skirts there for about $5; it's perfect. Though I'm not using it anymore.
Oh by the way, goodwill=good, but salvation army=scary.

^_^- Yep! :D I tried to make my own (ghetto) sloutchy socks one mid-night, and it was really funny. x__x I basicly cut open the toes on an old pair of long white snowboarding socks and I had my tabi socks under them with my zettai. xDD It looks so riduculous... But I had fun.

live action GTO he said non of the school girls were wearing loos socks and Air Master wore loose socks. i was vaguely (very vague) refering to those anime.

One thing I was told about the sock-thing was that loose socks were still allowed (maybe not in all schools, not sure) but apparently the new fashion are the long, non-floppy socks with a certain logo on them.
Want to guess the logo? Highlight below for the answer:

I saw a picture of a bunch of Playboy purses right net to the Lewie Vaton(?! I dunno how to spell it. xD) purses in a store in Japan. .__. So much class.
