For the ears I think I'm gonna make them from fabric and stuff them with cotton balls, sewing them to the hoody, same idea for the tail, at the bottom of the shirt. @Sound- I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking about making a base out of carboard and putting poster board over that BUT I want to make them actually light up. I'm not sure if I should use reflective tape or actually make circuitry lighting for them. One of the guys in my boyfriends band is an electrical engineer so I'll probably try and talk to him and see what he thinks the best way to go around it would be.

I'll be making a gijinka Rayquaza, because I'm insane. I designed it myself, though I haven't even started sewing yet >.<Cool!
As for fangs... there was a guy at K-con '09 by the Firefox booth crafting custom fangs. I had a pair made, and they are absolutely AMAZING. Perfect fit, perfect colour match, and surprisingly comfortable to wear. If I can find the handout he gave me I'll let you guys know... Although they're a bit pricey, at $50 a pair.

Oh FYI just because, avoid getting any cat eyes or obvious shape design ^. ^ I bought a pair of cat eyes but since the contact moves on your eye, the "shape/design" doesn't stay in place. So need less to say I was a R-Tard crossed eye cat for halloween XD And not to mention I had to fix the contact every 3-4 minutes or so XD

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten he does that too. In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, you're supposed to be able to buy these stamps and put them on your pokeball so stars or hearts or whatever pop up when you send out your pokemon, but I've never been able to make it work.>_>

The rings are easy. Just get some stiff fabric or even felt would work, just make sure it's thick, and cut it out, sew the edges to make it look cleaner, and you could sew it on or even use fabric glue. For the wig just get a black wig, the length is whatever you want. I'd go to cosplay .com's marketplace for that though, to get it cheaper since there aren't specific requirements other than color.

Kidding, of course. I love the Eeveelutions, I see how much fun they'd be to cosplay, and I plan to help Teddy with her Umbreon cosplay. It's just that there are already so many, a little variation is always good.

I highly, highly doubt anyone hear has a problem with crossplaying, we're far too cool people. Besides, I'm going to be crossplaying, so it's not like it's any big deal.
But I must ask you to choose one of the two roads that all crossplaying males must take, in my opinion: Either make it funny or make it good. I don't care if you just go for the amusement value of a dude in a skirt, but if you want to seriously crossplay, I implore you to try to look good in it, which in my mind involves shaving and some padding. You probably already know this all, but it doesn't hurt to say it. I just hate when guys try some middle road between these, making a minimal effort so it isn't funny, but doesn't look good.
For the record, same goes for crossplaying girls, such as myself. I fully plan to bind and wear loose jeans so as to better pass off as a guy (which I already do pretty well, if I do say so myself). I don't mind genderbended characters, I just don't like it when girls crossplay as the character, but don't bind or anything else.
It's like brown haired L cosplayers who don't get a wig, you get the idea, but it looks lazy and sloppy.

I'd only commission if there's really no other option. Last time I needed an outfit I couldn't make, a bought a premade one pretty cheap. I had to let it out since it was size anorexic, but after that it was fine.
That's just a tangent though, since I doubt you could find a premade version of your outfit. The only other thing I could suggest is buying something basic then modifying it.
