Just because this seems to be a tradition for me.....
Post any funny/strange/random quotes that you remember saying or hearing at the convention
(I'm well aware of the complaints and things hotel staff have said to con-goers but let's leave those out and have fun with this topic)

From the epic game of freeze in the hallway:
"This is number 32; I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!" *refering to Garnet having Zidane's thirty-second kid. xD*
Pretty much everything from chess; especially the chess masters. Can't remember anything exactly.

I was talking to a guy outside that was crossplaying as a character from Princess Princess. He explained to me how his character is a guy who is dressed up like a girl.
Me: "So REALLY, you're technically not crossplaying because the character is a guy that just happens to be dressed like a girl."
Him: "Exactly."
Me: "It's kind of like 'it's only gay if you make eye contact.'"
Him: "Uhh, haha yeah."
Me: "That's what I was always told, anyways."
Him: "......"
Me: "I've said too much. Goodbye!"

ya, that event alone made my time at Kumoricon awesome, even tho there was a bit I did enjoy, that was the best, and I'm glad I waited for about 50 minutes, because just looking at the facial expressions on the host's face was priceless.

ya, I really enjoyed that panel a lot... I think the thing that made it all great, besides the FF refrences and skits, was the bigger or better, where that one guy first brought back a traffic cone, than a cane.

what I found interesting was when everyone cheered, I know it was supposed to be thanking him, but to me, it's like they were cheering for booing him... I was another person that told others to be quiet, because like you said, it could have ended up bad... But ya, they should of all yelled sorry instead of cheered... By the way, I was the one who did rock paper scissors against the ninja. But I did enjoy that panel a lot and was surprised at how many people showed up, especially seeing as how the last one I was at was in 06 (the first one) this panel really went far, and I see it as eventually taking up more than just the one live room.

lol ya, that was true... I'm glad you guy's showed up... But the panelist were correct about attracting turks to the panel. The first Random Panel actually had turks with a sign up sheet, getting people to apply for being a turk.

ya, but I am surprised a few people did know me, and yet was surprised so many didn't, if that makes sense in some way... Probably because I keep hearing people ask online what that is, but do to the fact the character was in Shonen Jump for a while, maybe that's why.

I don't know about anyone else, but I cheered and applauded the poor Chair-person man both times,
when he took the cone away and when he came back. He could have been seriously crucified... not all
Hotel's understand the don't-kill-the-messenger rule...
Also... You Shin-ra people roxs socks... I wish i had chosen a character that more people would have
recognized/had more interaction with... but I love Heather from Silent Hill 3 too much to abandon that
cosplay...

ya, I really enjoyed that panel a lot... I think the thing that made it all great, besides the FF refrences and skits, was the bigger or better, where that one guy first brought back a traffic cone, than a cane.

That is one of my friends. I'm pretty sure it was perfectly legitimate...but knowing him...hmm. He also ended up winning Press Your Luck later in the day.

Really? I only saw it happen once. I saw a lot of people complaining about it on the forums (the Marco Polo and "the game" stuff), but I hardly ever noticed it. I guess I was just always in the right place or something. ^_^; I understand hearing "You just lost the game" 100 times is annoying, but I would maybe hear it once every couple of hours.

I heard it every 10-15 minutes while in the open hotel convention areas. "the game" honestly stopped being funny a long time ago...just like Rick Rolling (as well as Marco Polo). The sad thing is some people just can't let go of an old joke, or don't know it's an old joke and keep using it long after its expiration date...or use it simply because others are doing it.

Me: -holds the muffin away from him- Your muffin? I think you forget something, Reno. Your my peon. What's yours is mine. Plus, If you really wanted it, you wouldn't have let me snatch it away in the first place. -takes a nibble-
Reno: -pouts and wibbles- My muffin... And I'm not a peon!
Me: -bursts into laughter well swallowing the bite of muffin and starts to choke-
Reno: Boss! -starts slapping me on the back to try and get the muffin down-
Me: -finally gets the food down and says between coughs- Here. I don't want your murderous muffin anymore.
Reno: -takes the muffin and smiles- Yay! I got my muffin back! -skips away-
Me: -takes in a couple of deep breaths- Gosh, I lived through a explosion and a muffin almost takes me out... -realizes that I let the muffin get away with it- Hey! Bring me back that muffin! The muffin must DIE!! -chases after the Reno to get the muffin-
And you know, I never did get my hands on that muffin. He had eaten it by the time I finally caught him. -pouts-

Ok, so my friends and I were talking in the dealers room, because we had run into each other, and as we talked, we suddenly started saying how normal people who don't cosplay would think all these people were weird, then, our friend Jacob/J was like,
