xD yeah that was me, i was the creepy little girl for the skit with bioshock and pokemon, it was a lot of fun but I was afraid LTcomanderrichie was going to kill herself by tripping on that hoop skirt so i sewed the netting up so she wouldn't step on it xD

IKNOWRITE?! After 3 kcons and 2 Scons this was the first time I saw a Zidane. A really really good one at that. I knew I probably wouldnt see such a good one again so I went ahead and asked her to dance at the masquerade. I just wish I had taken a picture. I hope there are more FFIX characters in future cons.

To be honest it was a little hard to tell if you were a guy or girl from a distance when I first saw you. Mask/Costume and all that jazz. I was pleasantly surprised when I got face to face. But that makes your costume so much better because Zidane had a pretty face too.

is ok, but ya, there was one photo taken of me and the person dressed as Katsura against two Akatsuki members, and I was just standing there reading the jump I was caring with me... But ya, don't worry about it, it help's me out a lot that you at least took a pic of me, that way I at least have one, and it turned out well as well... But your outfit is amazing.

Yep, that was me. All the big stuff was bought (the armor parts, helmet) and I just put the details on it, letting it get weathered by transporting to and from events and just from wearing it. And you're not the only one who wanted to hug me, haha. I got a ton of hugs while wearing that :P Next year I will be a Twi'lek dark jedi :D

nice, so I might just do my actual Jedi that I have been working on for a while, which includes back story and everything... I even came up with his family's history. But ya, I will definitely do that next year, and if I can't, it will be at K-Con 11. But if more SW's characters go to K-Con, we can over throw the ST characters with ease.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't airsoft. There was two guns and I don't think there were any problems with peace bonding. Besides, in person they seemed a little smaller than most airsoft pistols I've seen.

I'm pretty sure I can elaborate on it.
If you have a job working in a specialized industry that require for photos of a certain nature, then yes, picking your camera up for that nature is going to be a requirement.
Now the photographers that are at con, are at the con, they are there to capture that moment, be it digitally or on film, and are going to be looking for that moment, not specifically going there looking for certain assets which are more pronounced than others.

Actually, I was angry at the mic. That's just what happens when the computer screen forces foreign lyrics down my throat, so I just played it out for all it got. And yes, that room really needed the opening theme to Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei— seeing that it didn't had left me.... well, take a wild guess.
Still, even I couldn't outdo that group that did the Pokemon theme drunk (pictured here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29349017@N06/3901071733/in/set-72157622312886958/)). There had to have been more profanities in their karaoke rendition on average than a Quentin Tarentino film.

You are talking about the lady on stilts in the Cosplay Contest, right? I think I can add some light to the situation. Go back and take another look because I fiddled with it in Photoshop a bit (it's at the end of the photo list for the contest). You can make it bigger using the little zoom icon in the corner, and then wait for it to load. That was awesome, btw.
And thanks for looking... I was trying hard to get decent pics of that event.

Yeah, but when editing 300+ photos it can definitely get time consuming. Usually for cons, since all my WB's are set up properly (except for the last...30 photos which were all painfully red) I usually just run my batch-automate setup.

It really depends on what I'm doing.
Basically my home workflow goes Lightroom/Bridge-->Photoshop(AUTOMATED)-->Lightroom/Bridge-->Photoshop-->Upload
On the road it goes Bridge-->Photoshop(AUTOMATED)-->Bridge-->Photoshop-->Upload.
I like lightroom and everything, but something about being able to physically interact with the photos is nice too...that and I like being at home because I have so many things macro'd for Bridge/Lightroom and Photoshop on my G15 Keyboard

ok so0o0o if anyone can reply or PM me... since i been searching and cant find the thread for the tango ball room and swing dance panels.. but im looking for pics specifically from those events? maybe masquerade pics too.. but mainly the Tango and Swing dance panel.. i KNOW there were several photographers there as well as attendees with reg cameras.. but i tot itd be cool jus to see what people got.... sinnce more than half the time was.. well.. dancing? lol THANKYOU~!!
