Never too early to start planning for Kumori 2010, I'm sort of forced to push the one costume I really want to do back until Kumori or possibly Sakura 2010.
So next year, I'll be purchasing this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270403876261&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching) beauty~

for me, I'm going to try and get Terra's outfit (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep) and working on his key blade. I will also be looking at other outfit's and seeing if I like any of them.

I kindasorta got forcedpressuredasked to do Mai from avatar. Right now it's up in the air, and I also want to get an Alice in Wonderland group together, I have about eight people roughly who have expressed interest.

Well, unfortunately this may be may list con for a little while if the job corps thing pulls through which means I'll miss both Sakuracon and Kumoricon 2010 :( But if for some reason I am able to go, and I get the money, I'm going to attempt to cosplay Maes Hughes, and if not that will wait till Kumoricon 2011...

I'll be bringing my lady Ky Kiske I'll be making for Sakuracon probably. I've also got nicely sized Cave Story group set up and I'll be makin' Curly Brace to go with my boyfriends Quote (we still need some people, so if you are interested, PM me!). I'm also going to try to get 20th century Miria and Issac going, also wanting to bring Blue Mary though. We'll see how that goes throughout the months.

Hmm I'm not sure. Possibly Stella (FFvs13)... I plan to have Emil (ToS2) for Sakura10, so I'll probably take him to Kumori10 too. Other than that, I don't plan for any new costumes really ^^;

sadly I couldn't find any real decent pic of him... so I guess I'll have to make do with this for now.

Buy a muscle shirt for the top, the suspenders could be easily made. The pants look like hakuma which I think there's a pattern for them floting around on the internet, though I can't tell what's going on at the top of them since I am blind. And you could probably make his weird armor out of foam and paper mache. I can't really give you any other guidance since my lack of eyesight makes it hard to see what's going on in a picture that small.

I was hoping to do something Final Fantasy... Quistis FF8 or Zidane/Garnet/Freya FF9... I'd really like to get something from FFX2, but I can't make up my mind.
I sew pretty well (lots of theater costuming under my belt) so I don't foresee anything being a problem... unless I don't pick out something soon!
It'll take me about a year to build it all. Especially if I want my hubby to dress too. (He's not too hard, since there's only one character from each FF that he'd want to cosplay)

What I decide to do for Sakuracon/Kumoricon 2010 will really depend on what my friends is thinking of doing since I do like to travel as a matching pair =]
Depending on how Kumoricon 2009 goes I might decide to redo Haruhi with her normal shorter hair and order my own school uniform instead of borrowing my friends so we can be Haruhi and Mikuru together on the same day.
Aside from that not 100% sure of any other cosplay plans yet.... I think Toph from Avatar would be fun but I tend to change my mind a lot XD

I totally understand that self-conscious thing. I had that pretty bad my first con or two. Really, I suggest that so long as you're sure that you're covered in an amount that's comfortable - think like a bathing suit - then you should be fine. Adding shorts or an extra piece of fabric for your selfconsciousness isn't bad. I'm highly considering wearing a cape/jacket of some sort for some of my more skin-showy costumes at least for the in-transit bit so I can take it off when I'm at the con itself.

I have such a long list of cosplays to do... and I don't even know the next convention I'll be able to attend; I don't know if I'll be around for KumoriCon next year. But Allen Walker's third uniform is pretty high up on my list of priorities.

It all depends on what survives Sakuracon, AX, and possibly Anime Evolution of next year. But there'll probably be something D.Gray-Man and something Macross Frontier. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe something comic book-related, too.

Whew! I'm so glad I found a back up costume! Rikku's black mage... and even Paine's white mage were looking pretty daunting at this point. (even a year away... I'm a wuss) ::)

For Kcon 2010, I plan to go as an Origin Forme Giratina cosplay for the first day, then a Dialga cosplay the second day. On the third day, I won't do any cosplay costumes. Instead, I'll wear my custom-made shirt that I designed myself. :3

My plan for next year involves me not actually attending Kumoricon. I plan to still cosplay as Steiner (FFIX), but I am only going to show up to the FF PHotoshoot. Since it will most likely be outdoors, I figure I can do that and not have to have a Kumoricon badge. So, yeah, that's my plan. I love cosplay, and don't plan to let some difficulties take that plan for next year away. There's too much built around FFIX already. So, that should be fun, heh

Well, since I am supposed to have Nero done by Fanime 2010, I'll be bringing him for sure. <3 I am so excited, I just need to finish up his coat and make his shirt and devil bringer!
Hmm...what else? I might bring along Summoner Yuna, but my Tidus won't be there. And I'm fixing up Princess Tutu for sure- that, or making her school uniform. I think both are completely adorable. Mmm...and if I do indeed do my Anastasia cosplay for SakuraCon with my other Disney princesses(lawl at Fox and Disney crossovers~!), then I will be bringing that as well.

Probably not going to be at S-con due to poor, but I'm already looking forward to K-con '10, even if it is still in the Hilton.
There are only two costumes I'm thinking about so far, Onion Knight (FFIII/Dissidia) and Shantotto (FFXI/Dissidia). Yeah, uh, guess what game I can't wait to get? *cough*
I might make a better Namine costume for next year if she shows up in the new KH games coming out between now and then, too...

Because I noticed how no one really cosplayed as a RE character, and it would also make a lot of good pics, especially with all the zombie cosplayers that I saw there.

Anywho... I do already have all of my cosplays planned out, since they're (hopefully) gonna be a bit of a challenge for myself to make. =3 -points at her siggy-
First off will be my VOCALOID cosplay, and I plan to be Rin Kagamine. ;3 Challenge with this one is I want to make it light up. .-. Must figure out how to do that...
Second will be Hortense, a character from Sound Horizon's fifth story, Roman. (I know there's another Sanhora fan on the forums somewhere, so I hope they'll recognize me if they go next year! X3 )
Third will be... a secret cosplay of which I cannot tell you. >.> I'll be wearing it to the masquerade and maybe on Monday. =3

I'm getting my Trinity Blood Abel Nightroad cosplay started. I can't sew so I order my costumes custom made. I'll be ordering the costume and 2 pairs of the AX gloves and the wig later. Fortunately I already have a pair of glasses to use for Abel. ;D

Oh man, I really hope I can make it for 2010. I've only gone to '07, and I really really miss it! Plus having friends that go make it even worse...
Anywho, I am hoping to get Eruka Frog and a FFT Chemist done for it. Since they're both fairly simple, I am thinking hoping that I can get both done since it is never fun to just have one cosplay!
(My first cosplay doesn't count since it was so horrid. Note: never get 'em made. They don't come the way that the pictures look. -_-)

So I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing for K'Con, but I've started to pull together some ideas of cosplays I want to do for not only that, but Sakuracon and Akicon.
My friend has shown an interest in possibly doing a Soul Eater cosplay, so there's a high chance of my Marie Mjolnir cosplay FINALLY making an appearance this year, especially since I've had the half finished outfit and materials lying about for a year now XD.
Also me and my two friends want to do a Hetalia group, so I'll probably be doing a Ukraine if we end up following through with that.
Aside from that I still have no clue what I want to do, and my plans are likely going to change drastically over the next year beings I have a hard time making up my mind. =]

Dusty Gozongas (City Worker from Aquateen Hunger Force) and Lucy T. S. (Bar Singer from Avenue Q) since blondes have more fun.
And both bombshells would only need one wig and minimal sewing effort (dusty:none, lucy;easy blue top and skirt)...
though both of those lovely ladies would probably only be seen after curfew due to their minimal monetary investment, smaller crowd recognition, and dubious nature.

My friend and I are doing Ginjika [I think I spelled that right XD] Vulpix and Ninetails, but with a Lolita and semi-uke twist. :D I'll also be going as my usual Sexy no Jutsu Gaara and I'll redo my Female Ranma that I only wore for an hour on the first day of kumoricon '09.

Still planning on doing Belgium from APH (I can't help it I think she's adorable.) but I'm also going to be doing Jessica from Umineko, which means I'll be wearing either my Marie cosplay from Soul Eater or my Miaka cosplay from Fushigi Yugi depending on which one goes over better at S'Con. I'm thinking Chane might make an appearance for the masquerade as well. =]

Sango from InuYasha has always in my opinion been one of the best written girls in anime, I absolutely love her! :) I am debating on making the armor and wont be starting the cosplay until I have the money but I will for sure have it done in time :)
