Hello everyone,
I want to thank you all for coming up for the Sakura Con 2006 elections. I'm looking forward to working with Sean Larsen as our new Programming Director and with Kumori-Con in the future.
Way to go Sean!

My husband and I voted absentee, but we are both thrilled with how things worked out. Congratulations on your election! I'm sure Sean will do a great job in programming.
Of the people I know that ran and were elected, to me it sounds like the elected officials ended up in great places even though some ended up in different positions than where they were first nominated. Many qualified people ran and I'm sure there were others that could also have done well, but I think you have a great team for the transition to the larger location.
I'm looking forward to 2006!
