Mostly, all I see is specific game pictures, or small amounts of crossover pictures....(like that one in your gallery).....I wonder if anyone's ever tried to get one of each game.....? (like each main character, from each game).......*is tired and therefore rambling*

We're going to be working on my "Summoner Yuna" this weekend, and I'm going to be heading over to the Goodwill to look at their wedding dresses next week. Heh heh. Yep...I'm seriously contemplating doing Wedding!Yuna as well. Just...well, because. I can. Heh heh. (all that on top of everything else....me thinks I'll be changing clothes every couple of hours at the con...)
But...how complete is our list? Is there anyone else that hasn't spoken up that wants to cosplay FF?! (Oh...and I need suggestions on who to make my sister into...)

Yes, I was Squall at Sakuracon.
I liked my version of Squall's outfit. It was a bit more gothic looking with the skin tight vinyl pants, boots almost up to my knees and such. I'm going to re-do the white furry fabric around the neck though, it's not shaped right.

that's the truth, there was this guy at the last k-con who came up to my mom in the lobby and just hugged her!!! her face was priceless, later he came up and hugged me and my friends and i asked why he hugged my mom and he said "i hug everyone!!!" and hugged me twice! ^^;;;
that guy was awesome, part of the staff too... they're all crazy! :wink:

i was just there yesterday so the best faye and wolf wood t-shirts i woulda bought if i had the $$, the bead had fallen out of my earing and we were able to find a replacement at a body piecing stall at loyds (i tried a bunch of places but no one seemed to have 18 cage beads) personal style wise i'm about a year or to behind where i want to be (as in hair style cloths ect) so i playing catch up i lost 60 lbs getting ready for my trip to japan and another 10 while there, then i got my upper ear periced and started wearing my nail polish on my hand all black except for my middle finger, which had sparkly pink polish. i need long hair for my cosplays this year but right after kumoricon i'm getting my hair cut short and dyed purplely black sans faye (going to jpn eally helped n wanting to be me)

O.O If I lost 60 lbs, I'd be just a bit under 100. I just started working overnights at Target, and I've already lost like 6lbs or so. I'm like 158-ish, I believe.
I still haven't decided if I want to be Squall again or make a new costume. If I did go as Squall, I don't think I'm wearing the vinyl pants again. -_- It's like wearing a latex glove on your legs. No breathing room. I might just stick with the long black skirt I have.

I don't know if they are still hiring, but I work overnights at the Lake Stevens Target. I wish I was working at Walmart again. That place is only like two exits away from me. The Lake Stevens Target is like over half an hour away from where I live.

Looks like a few other's are as well^^ Gotten back into my FFVII obsession... actually, I don't think I've ever left it.. But eh. I'm actually going as the original FFVII version of him though... I just got fabric for the cloak today^^.. Had the pattern for awhile.. Visited the hobby shop for gold stuff too^^ My dad's wallet is going to be a bit anorexic this summer... I'm thinking about resuming work on my Zidane outfit as well... Went as him last year but I wanna fix it up a little....^^; Can't wait to see everyone's outfits! Oh, thanks^_^ I used three things, for the most part:
Craft metal, Craft foam, and a glue called Quik-Grip that works well on metal. I glued the claws to a black glove... the actual measurement was more by eye than anything. (I also sewed a zipper in to the craftfoam on the arm before gluing the foil to it, but... Yeah... something like that. There's a tutorial for the claw online that I found which I read, but that one dealt with polystrene, Which I haven't used before, and really don't know how, but I used it as a vague guide^^
All in all though, it was time and pain! XD I ended up cutting my finger on the foil covering the shoes at the convention....my finger wouldn't stop blinking and everyone was asking me continuously for a picture or a hug ^^ It drove me crazy....but I can't say no to people, so I just told them to be careful^^;;

Oooh, awesome. That tutorial you used involving polystyrene, I'm pretty sure that is the tutorial I used. Polystyrene is how I made mine, lots of pain and hot glue, also, but I didn't cut myself fortunately. Sorry to hear you did, though. ^~^
Anyway, yeah, I didn't see that other DoC/AC Vincent; I bet they looked pretty killer. I styled my costume as the original game design of Vincent also. There were too many little subtleties and differences that I didn't have time to work on, heh.

A Turk Vincent will be sweet, especially if joined with the rest of the Turks in similar suits.
Speaking of Turk Vincent, I picked up a Trading Arts FF figure at Kumoricon, and was hoping for Vincent, for he was displayed in his post-experiment form. What I got, though, was Turk Vincent, which I was actually even more stoked for. I mean, I saw a lot of the common Vincent figures, but not too many (any) Turk Vincent figures. So, yeah, happy ending! ^_^
Yeah, I'm going to have to be mending my costume quite a bit if I plan to wear it again. It held up nicely, though. I'm thinking I might go as Barrett for next year's con, but I have nearly a year to think over that.

So, I've decided on (at least) one of my costumes for Kumoricon 2007. I'll be "Advent: Barret", the AC version of Barret Wallace. It shouldn't be nearly as complicated as last year's Vincent Valentine, so I may attempt a second cosplay, but we'll see. Barret is for sure, though.

Yeah, pretty early, but I have been considering cosplaying Wakka. Not this year, because it will take a haircut that I'm not willing to do yet, heh. But probably next year. My other dream cosplay from FFX is Anima. I would love to somehow, someway, go as Anima.....but that'd be a stretch for sure.

Yeah, even if I wasn't photographed much or involved in the shoots, it was such an awesome sight to behold. So many FF fans, cosplayers, addicts.....it was like a family reunion, heh

Ooh, Amarant! Him, Vincent, Hojo, they all sound like great ideas! And, like I said somewhere else, Vincent isn't done all that much, not at Kumoricon anyway. Three last year, and it really isn't a problem if there is another person as the same character. It can be fun for photoshoots.

Well, I'm fiddling with the idea of taking out my Irvine Kinneas costume. However, he'd be super-casual Irvine Kinneas, because the vest busted last minute (plus I don't really feel like wearing the tineh thing) and I won't have chaps. Still got the jacket and hat and all the other good cowboy stuff though! ;D
So yes, fiddling with the idea. Does a "casual" Irvine Kinneas sound alright? =/ (not sure if the cosplay community would eat me alive for not wearing vest and chaps...)

Oh that would be fine! Irvine is so undercosplayed that anything you want to do as Irvine is fine with me (and vicariously the entire cosplaying community as well). If anyone gives you trouble....I'll just have Rinoa-gf sick Angelo on them!

I'm going as Luneth from FF III...which I just started playing about three days ago. I've never done FF cosplay, so it should be amusing. ^__^ (I'm also crossing my fingers that someone will recognize me...since my previous experiences with cosplay haven't been recognized...)
