Yes! The tea party is happening!
Expect lots of fabulous Ouran silliawesomeness this year!
Note:
The ticket price is looking like it is going to be $3 per shift. Tickets will be on sale at the info booth. Hosts will be expected to pay this as well; to chip in for entertainment's sake. (That does mean $9 for those that will be staying the whole time.)
Video recording and picture taking are more than encouraged at this panel.
Date/Time:
Saturday, 2pm - 5pm, in the Rounds.
There will be three shifts, 45 minutes in length, and periods of 15 minutes in between for host prep.
Hosts:
Are expected to put quite a bit of effort into entertaining the clients! I'm working on a nearly fully planned out show for the panel. An intro, games, dancing, mini skit/scenarios to be acted out, and all that jazz. Hosts should be mostly in-character - we're gonna give true meaning to the second part of the word "cosplay." If you are planning on cosplaying as somebody from Ouran and want to host at this panel, fill out the form below and PM it to me titled "Host Club Tea Party Host Application." If you are cosplaying as one of the side characters from Ouran, such as members from the Zuka club, Nekozawa, Kasanoda/Bossa-nova, or even a regular schoolgirl, you can help as well!

One-paragraph description of your character: Kyouya is a megane and "cool-type" character. Occasionally referred to as the "shadow king" of the club, he the brains behind all the club does. He and Tamaki are best friends. Sometimes Tamaki refers to him as "mother" because of this familial relationship that Tamaki came up with. Kyouya is pretty observant, cold, and calculating. There is a passionate side to him as well that is not blatant but still relevant.

You should have a set of the twins start randomly fighting, and of course, end it with the fact that they were pretending ^^ I loved that chapter!

I would say that he would be relatively cordial (he is a host after all) and also advertise things for the club. There's also entertainment from Tamaki's interactions with him. ;)

I colored my hair today in order to do a video as Larxene. but instead of blond i got peachy twin color XD so i have to recolor it before Kumori con if i am gonna be Tamaki.

I had to go with making mine. but since i cant make cosplay unless its not for myself i had to go find other things to use. and shockingly i found everything i needed at walmart! How long is this going to go, because if there are no other Renge's, I'll be there the whole time. Plus, I think it would be great if Renge did the opening, and the closing. So, if all else fails, I'll be there for that.

Patches are sold at the clackamas Town center or offline; As for the jacket, you should sew it yourself or order a cosplay offline. Complaining about it on the Ouran forum itself is a little bit redundant, don't you think?

It will be $3 for each session, and we are working on whether or not it's 2 or 3 sessions (so far, I don't know that there is enough interest to run more than 2 sessions, or to run 3 smaller sessions.)
So, you guys are looking to host and attend, you tell me: would 2 big, or 3 smaller session be better? Keep in mind, as host you would need to pay for each (it's to help with the catering costs)

Can you get tickets the morning of the day it's happening or can you get some on Friday before the con? Also are there different tickets for different time slots or is it first come first serve for what time you're seated?

The tea party will have 3 sessions. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Info Booth starting Saturday morning. You can buy a ticket for all three sessions if you choose to do so. Hosts will also be expected to buy tickets as well, but I think that has been explained.
Remember, due to the layout of the hotel, you will not be able to line up for your session more than 30 mins before the event. But no worries.. if you have a ticket, you have a seat, so there's no rush. And it's not a huge room, so all seats are good.
Any tickets that are still available for the session will be sold at the door (but you're better off getting them earlier).
As for the rest of the plan.. you need to talk to Cassie.. it's her deal. I'm just dealing with the tea :)

I've decided that what I'm going to do is select a small group of people to host for the entire time (all 3 shifts). Those who don't get selected for that will be more than welcome to come help out and host during whichever shift they choose. I hope that is acceptable to everyone.

One-paragraph description of your character: Kaoru one of the Hitachiin twins, and is definitely the more responsible and peaceful of the two. Kaoru watches over Hikaru, making sure that he stays happy, but when it comes to others he could care less. Like his brother, he does enjoy playing devious tricks and messing with peoples heads.

Any previous acting or dancing experience: Gymnastics for ten years, up to level six, and I know all of the current routines for floor, bars, beam and vault is a no-brainer. I can tumble pretty well- my best back skill is a round-off back handspring back tuck, and front is a front handspring front tuck. Two years of cheerleading, which makes it so I can tumble on stone (pain) and teach you guys to stunt.

OH. The dress types I have are a black gothic lolita, pink lolita, a pink summer dress, two formal dresses, a pink and black dress with black lace, a few tan-and-black formal dresses, and a dress with Hawaiian print.

OH. The dress types I have are a black gothic lolita, pink lolita, a pink summer dress, two formal dresses, a pink and black dress with black lace, a few tan-and-black formal dresses, and a dress with Hawaiian print.
Woo! The pink summer dress would be very appropriate I think, or the pink and black with lace one.
Well, I know Sees and I are planning do do almost every single one of their scenes. (we practiced)
And yes, I am willing to -LICK HARUHI'S FACE-. >D
The only one we weren't planning on doing was the twin fight scene, because... That made us both cry and cling onto each other whilst screaming "Noooo~!" so I'd not like to repeat that. xD
Though... I suppose we'll do it if you REALLY want us to. I'll just need a cookie or something afterward to cheer me up. xD;
Oh. We also have a cookie scene for just the two of us that we made up. ;3

Yeah, I think you'll need to get a ticket and present it, but I want to let all the host club cosplayers in early. We'll be having 15-minute breaks in between shifts, so the one-shift hosts will be let in then.

Yeah, the girl who was running it (dunno) was looking for tea so I decided to help search...oddly there was no tea- so I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off to help get something while she played the calm role and told about the situation.
If all of you do this next year I will be sure to get a wider lens to get you all in one shot, and have something a bit more suitable for the enviroment. It seemed pretty fun while I was there,
