I am curious to know if anyone will be doing cosplay of the interesting clothes worn by Naruto characters in that fun spin-off manga/end credit anime clips known as "Konoha Gakuen Den". This'll be my 1st-ever time attending KumoriCon (YAY), & sadly I'll only be there the 1st day (Boo). I'm cosplaying as the KGD version of Choji Akimichi, and it'd totally ROCK if I could hang out with other KGD peeps. <3
Plus, how could you not want to? It's still Naruto cosplay, but a refreshing (and loads more comfortable) variation of it that's not too hard to do (depends on the character you're doing, btw).

Oh, I would love to. XD I don't know if I have enough money for another wig, and since the only naruto wig I have is able to work for Sakura....xD I'm not too keen on wearing a skirt.
I'll need to look around my house for money....

Hey, if you have probs wearing a skirt, you could wear a pair of shorts underneath. That's what I do (mostly for comfort as well as for privacy reasons; only time I feel comfortable in a skirt is if it's a long one that reaches almost to my ankles). Good luck getting the monies for your idea. And don't be afraid to do something different than how it's supposed to look... the lead singer of Soul Candy did her own clever spin on Sakura's outfit when the band played at Anime Evolution, and she looked pretty cool. <3

Well I am going as Sakura and Naruko(sexy jutsu naruto)...but all I need to make is sakura's skirt and the red swirl thing on Naruko's back... :)

Good luck with those! And that sounds interesting, doing a KGD version of Naruko.
My own costume is near-complete... just need to find the right shirt (and possibly the pants; I already have black pants that I could use for this, but they're not quite like the ones from KGD - I'm hoping to find the right kind at a cheap price...heh heh).

Why thank you Lady Shinsei, for thinking my Sakura was clever, besides its ghetto goodness. lol. I do agree that you can do your own Gakuen versions (although doing it the legit way is always a good way to go.) and if you have a group, thats even better. Just have fun with it and enjoy the character.

I know someone wanting to go as KGD Hinata for a day, but it would probably be the second or third day ^^;

I have an idea... is anyone interested in there being a tiny photoshoot of sorts?
I'm open to suggestions for a good location, and it'll be on the 1st day (Sat.).
