Anyone have any favorite dancy remixes of video game music? I especially love some of the older 8 bit tunes remixed, and I'm still searching for the perfect house remix of the zelda theme. OCRemix.org has some great stuff on it. Are there any other video game remix sites worth checking out?

I would love if you played some of the background music from .hack//G.U., many of the songs would be good for slow dances.
And there's a Vocaloid song by Gackpo called, "Owatta!" that plays the Mario theme at various points, that'd be fun~

Cool thanks for the ideas. Sandstroms will definately be there as well as more DDR music than I'd like to admit I have *cough*cough*captain jack*Smile.dk*village people*. Actually I just bought the JS-16 album so I could listen to stomp to my beat outside of ddr. I'll take a listen to the halo remixes and get the timing down. THXS

You could email me files at djdiscosnake@gmail.com, or you could give them to Jackie with programming on a disc. I'll meet up with her in a couple weeks to go through a walk through of the space and do some preproduction planning. You could snail mail materials or even fan mail if you were so inclined to CMD Productions PO Box 1594 Portland OR 97207.
In general I avoid torrents and p2p programs.

Oh, the Wipeout series take the best of the best techno artist's songs and mixes them into songs made for the racing genre. It might not be considered strictly OST, since the music from the games are found on other cd's. I'd also suggest some 16-bit Starfox music ^^

Superfreak is in the "Scarface" game and on the DDR Revolution Universe Set list.
Zoot Suit Riot is similar to "Bioshock" game music, and I've danced to it in "Step Mainia". Although to be true to form I think "bei mir bist du schon" would be a better choice for the Bioshock justification.
And I love Labyrinth in a way that few others can understand, I'm not sure I could say no to a request to play it.
My goal is to have about 2/3 video game music of some form and about 1/3 dance stuff. Although I'm considering anything from any of the DDRs or Guitar Hero, Rockband, video game music. And I'm also playing quite a few 8-bit songs from zelda, mario and the like and video game remixes. It will definately have a video game theme.
There will also be some unreleased tracks from the Slants showing up.
