Kumoricon's next event is dance scheduled for July 18th, at the Norse Hall in Portland (same place the Swing Dance was held last year). The theme for this dance is video games (we really like the music :D). There will be concessions and snacks, and we will have cosplay judging as well, so break out your favorite game character and come join the fun.
Here is where your help is needed... we need a name. What can we call this dance? Post your suggestions below, and you all can comment/discuss the suggestions until May 30th. After that, the dance committee will pick their fave, and we will post all the details around the first of June. The person whose suggestion we use gets in for free.
Sound good? All we ask, keep in mind the theme: video games/gaming. And remember, we are a PG-13 con, so please make sure your suggestions stay appropriate ;)

Could always go for something a little more dreamy like

then again you could name it after those annoyingly hard parts in games like

Course if that's not bad enough you could name it after FFX-2's dance sphere...
"Dance Sphere Dance Party" ... that i tried to be witty with that one... was kinda hard for some reason XP ...
and of course last but not least...

Yes, there is an age limit at the dance, and it is the same as the last dance in February (sorry to the under 14's).
There won't be an official vote for the name, it will be chosen by the dance committee.. but we will base the selection on comments made in this thread, and will be the best way to promote the dance. You guys have made some awesome suggestions, so if there is one you like, let us know. We want something that will draw people in.. so let us know what you think :)

Sorry, but the minimum age for this dance us 14. You will be able to attend the dances at con, tho.
