We have been talking about this for a while though we didn't talk about a specific group. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in attending an Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts pajama party in the hotel during pre-registration.
I was thinking that the action could start about 3pm then we get in line together once everyone got their badge move back to the lobby for some more action ;D We may also head over to Pioneer Mall for some food.

This is a really good idea! A lot of this is up in the air, but I'm hoping that I can get my transportation to mess with their schedule.

I would almost say that you would be better off as.....well actually, I don't think anyone has said they are cosplay Riku.....so either would work out XD
I am looking forward to this as well. I need to get some pjs. I just ordered a cactaur plushie so I am thinking a chibi type Cloud over a more sexy Cloud....mainly because I imagine that Cloud would wear only boxers to bed and I can't do that >_>;;

Oh, my two friends were wondering if it has to be FF/KH? Cause neither of them have a costume of those series and... one supposedly will for next Sakura Con @.@ But yeaaaah.

If I was to attend I'd have to do some KH or FF Themed PJs... cause my hair will still be purple, and thus I will be Yuugao Uzuki from Naruto... not Female Martial Arts from Final Fantasy... which is what I would offer to be! XD

Keep in mind Nikki, that it starts to get dark that time of year at about 6-7pm so a photoshoot outside might not be best if we're all in pjs.
So maybe earlier in the day. When would the prereg line "start" to form?

*sigh* why are you fighting every decision I try to make. First of all when do you wear your pjs outside? Only for a short time if you are getting places. I was thinking about having it INSIDE!

._.; Sorry if it seems like I'm fighting with you about these things. I've been forced to be a kind of person who takes note of what others are doing when planning things - like times when it gets dark, temps and other junk like that. But that's not really much of a good reason. Other than, being pretty new to organizing things (by) myself and being a worry-wart, I got nothing for an apology. I won't make excuses or junk, cause that's probably just as annoying, so a sorry's all I got and I'll stop messing with it. I thought a bit of tidbits about things might help, and I guess x_o Not that I think you don't care, more of like you've already considered those and my saying it's annoying. So yup I'll shut up. Last you'll hear on it. If you want to continue talking about it, probably best in PM.
@Syd: Can you see out of your Riku's blindfold? I tried wearing my friend's once and ran into everything ^^;

Veraca: I can see enough. XD I mean, I do need some practise with it and will probably need to look at the areas a few times, but I can go outside and stuff and not die.

Its just a little aggravated for me because I like to have things planed out well and for something like this at a con I really cant. This is one reason why I don't plan on planning to many more events because I am not the best at dealing with other peoples issues, nothing against anyone else just a problem I have.

Oddly enough that sounds a lot like how I am, and I end up having to force myself to relax and not have stuff finalized until a month before the actual event. That's why I ended up being unable to go to two cons I really wanted to go to this year *shrugs*
Oh does anyone know how close the Pioneer mall is to the hotel? I tried to Google Map the place for food and didn't even pick up a McDonalds that's supposedly near there x_x;

Roxas does have a PJ costume, yes, but I can't make it. I'm tempted to go in an actual pair of pjs I own that's a set of blue with yellow stars and moons and stuff on it.. They're just huge on me. It's that or the blue plaid pj pants and some kind of shirt...

Well Marly's design in a manly/fruity mix...
He's got a black wife beater that's kinda lose with a cool heart design on the side, and baggy capri sweats from victoria's secret that say PINK on the butt (color still undecided) with pink fuzzy slippers.
I think I'm leaning towards Kairi's though because I like her pjs more...
It's a light grey long sleeve cotton type shirt with a lilac loose t shirt over that with Sora's crown design on the chest. her sweats are long baggy black ones with a cute heart on the hip and that are shoved into a pair of boots.
The sweats and boots part is a style I actually do often around the house and it's quite comfortable :3 the boots are like my slippers.

If I did Larxene I think I would go more for a sexy night gown type thing. I would have to put some thought into it. I am not great at making outfits like this.

Hmmm... Well she's the only girl in a group of guys, so she's likely to be a bit tomboyish with a hidden girly side, which would show in the outfits she wears when she's alone. So she'd have cutesy girly pjs in my opinion... So maybe something like a layered top look (sorta like Kairi's but more revealing, like a shoulder showing long sleeve shirt paired with a cute tank top style shirt) and maybe this style of capri sweats that remind me of bell bottom jeans from the seventy's. They're really loose and flowy near the bottom like bell bottoms.

*dies laughing* You were talking about this high-maintenance thing and I just realized that I have a pair of silk-ish pjs I wouldn't mind wearing. xD They're like bronze gold with some pink flowers on them - very simple and elegant XD Then I could stuff the legs into one of my boots or something... hehehe XD

I honestly didn't know they had one for sale. ^^; I guess they would considering it's more of a trademark icon than the chocobo or moogle. Really, I don't think moogle appeared a lot until 8 or 9, and the cactuar I think started in.. I wanna say 2 x_x Chocobo was 7 or 6 I want to say... *shrug* I can't think of it off the top of my head lol Dang FF history line is so odd.

I got the outfit I am going to wear for this today. I have short black shorts and it is going to have the number XII on the front left leg. I also got a yellow tank top and on the back it will say Larlar. Once I get everything ironed on I'll take pictures.

Alright I got the stuff ironed on. I am quite happy with the way it turned out. And I thought of something that might be fun. It would be pretty cool to do a secret buddy thing with the shirts. Like people pull names for those that coming and then make a shirt for them. Maybe next year we can do that.

Yeah Laurie and I are hoping to get one too because we're not quite sure how far away we'll be living, and if possible I want to not have to take the train. Laurie doesn't like it all too much and she gets whiny.... XD

A room really does make the whole experience much much better. I suggest people get them if they can.

A room is a good idea. Our group can't afford one, and we really don't mind waking up two hours early to take a 45min-1hr MAX ride. We all woke up at 4am for Sakuracon, so sleeping in until possibly 5am will be like heaven for us xD

That doesn't sound like fun, and if you get enough people a room could be about $50. Just with 6 people it is $58

XD You two are so amusing. I have clothes that are 6 years old and don't care cause I never grow and they still fit. Really, I buy stuff from consignment stores and the like. If I have the money/time and willingness to fight with how pants never EVER fit or shirts always 'flatter' the wrong part of my body, I'll spend money at Ross, or Freddy's.
Though I did find a few interesting shops selling clothes on eBay that just look beautiful and are a style I'd actually wear and would work with some of my clothes I already have. And they aren't too painfully expensive. About as much as HT is- but they are so much cooler in my opinion~ It's actually where I bought the pants for Roxas's punk look.
Getting back on topic though- I just can't decide on a good pj thing for Roxas *huff* I've got several ideas but none sound or seem Roxas-y enough to me....
The elegant pjs- ehh? Hmm doesn't sound right.
Stars & moons giant pjs- Oo; Sounds more like Sora sorta.
Plaid pants & some shirt- sounds too much like the school uniform rather than pjs...

True enough, But I kinda like having the minority of cosplay. Just means that people are more likely to snap a pic of you if your protraying the correct gender of your cosplay. Especially if its done well. Hence the Reno cosplay. SOOO many pics last year. Though it was my first real year cosplaying. I'm working on a newer wig this year for K-con. I may just forgo my Seifer and Sephy cosplays until later and just enhance Reno.

But something else hit me...I promised myself I'd cosplay as Super Saiyan 4 Goku at K-con. If I can pull Cloud together in time, he will have to have super saiyan hair to be also used with Super Saiyan Trunks at the con. Who knows, I might just have Trunkloud, using the potara fusion earrings I found. So yeah, just to let people know that I'm still down for trying to get a FF cosplay for the party, but I might focus more on Goku for the con.

It's really nothing; just a clue to Laguna being the Prez before you meet him. If you talk to a solider or some person outside the palace in Esthar, they say something along the lines of "The president is requesting an invention so you can scratch your back without using your hands" or something like that. It's supposed to be a clue to the President(Laguna) being a crazy lil fruitcake. XD

Ok well on the very first post, the first line in the second paragraph it says that it is going to start at three. And for the most part we will be in the hotel so it shouldn't be hard to find us. There are at least 20 people going. The only time we will probably leave to hotel is for food and I am not even sure if that is a good idea (Pioneer Place has an issue with large groups of people, don't ask....boy are they in for a surprise XD )

I think they were in the burned down village but they've since rebuilt it...

ok lets see...in the very beggining there are 3 treasure chests on the oppisite side of where you would head to the base camp. There isn't anything in the camp.
In the road there is only 2. if you head down the trail then head right as soon as you get past the trees ist before that carrage. then if you turn left and head across the river theres another one.
in the mountain pass there are it looks like four. head down the path without climbing and its to the left. next climb the batch of rocks to your right and theres one. then across the main path there is another rock ledge thing that has 2 more or one more (can't tell)
none in the village
2 in the snowy mountain path (should be easy to see) and none in the round about mountain top.
two in the cave (again should be easy to see)
in the palace thrown room there are 6 (3 on each side of the thrown and near the walls as well as tucked around the staircases) then there are 2 behind the thrown.

If I hemmed it at all, my mom who got it for me, would strangle me... I'd have to just lift it up and carry it that way and hope it doesn't get too dirty. It's why I plan to wear actual clothes under it, so I can take it off and roll it up to keep it safe.

Not really.. even temp dye leaves a color change in your hair- like a stain. You'd have to wash it pretty well each time until it's all gone.
I just used a special dark red dye for dark women and the first few days my hair was as red as my red wig >>; Metallic burgendy... It's washing out and is evening out to my natural color, which is what I wanted, but it took several washes.

Get the blond highlights stuff for dark hair- if you have that- and leave that in until your hair's like a light blond. Then take a red dye or two to it and it should turn out ok. If you can afford all that x_x;

I learned something funny today regarding my hair. It gets lighter the more I wash it >> and the more i stay out in the sun. Going to the fair helped it a carp load.

I'll be chasing the party around until 6. That's when I'm holding my grand battle at the waterfront. Everyone who knows how to FF battle will like this competitive version too. Anyone who's got a badge or a place to clip a card on them can play.

So last night I was scrounging around while talkin to Sayda. An I found pink pj bottoms with monkeys and the word 'BRAT' all over it, I tried to find a pink shirt but no luck, so I settled for my sky shirt >> it's got clouds and stars and moons all over it. I lol'd so hard, cause I though 'Sora's pj top xD' I think Kairi's a pajama thief.

I'm wearing the white tank top and a red undershirt now but light blue denim booty shorts.

I actually might have a pj party fairly soon since con's still more or less a year away, anyway. I'll go make a thread for it since this thread is dead. So to say, the event's passed and it's not cool to post in here anymore, not unless Nichole decides to revive it.

Just a heads up to some people. I do not plan on doing this again. I didn't even end up going to this one XD. I have a problem with following through with plans at a con so if someone else want to plan it that's great. I am just as happy with hanging out with my close group of friends :3

I figured you wouldn't be doing this again Nichole, that's why I'm planning a giant camping trip that's mainly for KH/FF fans. But others are welcome too really.
