2012 has always been one of those ridiculous "end of the world" plots, though. I don't have the watch a video that'll take an hour to load to know that. It's like that guy who predicted the end of the world in. . What was it, 1984?
Or is this a personal attack on theorists, Tom? xD

lol funny I SAY WE ALL WILL DIE NEXT WEEK AND THATS A FACT

YAY ^^

=\ I need solid proof to believe this kind of thing.
I'll probably watch the video tommorrow when I have time to wait a few hours for it to see if I can "see into the pasts of others." Until then, however, I'm refusing to believe that this even has a slight of truth. It might've just been subliminal messaging.
I'm actually doing some research on this hoax right now, but it seems to me there's no actual proof, just some people who want to get rich off of selling a book to gullible people.

I know what you are saying. We need logical proof before we could believe something like this and as I can tell there is not any logical proof.

Exactally, Blackstar. To me it's just another one of those ridiculous conspiracy theories, like the New World Order or Napoleon being on a UFO with John Lennin and some other people.
Randomcosplay, what do you mean by "lucky for me?"

^ The way you worded that made it seem like you believed it because it caused a reaction to you.

Speaking of Stupid things this is what my friend truely believes IT SO FUNNLY STUPID http://www.reptoids.com/ (http://www.reptoids.com/)
-
well we could take this from a biblical point of view.
sence the rapture has not yet happened... and after the rapture there will be 7 years of suffering... it is safe for me to say that the end of the world is NOT 2012. also i believe that it was just a case of the Mihens* (dont know if i spelled right) being lazy
-
I love anything that gets me thinking as much do just not on the things we don't like to hear * WE ALL GONNA DIE * things like that but I love stuff that makes me think about things don't know lol
I do and I don't believe it I to need solid prof*
the one thing is NASA had a live Press conference about this matter they say its nothing but there is a Planet that will come close.......
as of when I was when I was 14 I seen a comment slowly flow out the sky and if that happen then I do believe that we'll see at least something of the same matter.... but I to need to see hard on facts witch in 2011 we'll see it as if we had another moon but then again might not.....
I just want to have something to believe in people has lost most of my belief
-
well it is a fluck none the less and it was someone who just wanted attenntion

2012. Dec. 21rst, 2012. So, in numerical terms: 12/21/2012. 12212012.
Looks like a form of binary code, if binary code included 2s. I think there IS a code that's made up of 0, 1, and 2, but I don't remember.
Anyways, the planet is probably Pluto. A lot of American scientists still consider Pluto a planet, and it has a weird orbit. I think Nibiru is too far off to be in orbit. If it was that far away, it would have caught some other star's orbit.
I'm optimistic. I believe in science, people, and sometimes God. But I prefer facts. And even if I did believe in nothing, like I have before, I wouldn't cling to the nearest baseless conspiracy theory that pops up so I could feel better.

You believe 100% what I believe. People are willing to believe anything to thing that they have an answer.
-
Believing something for the sake of believing something seems slightly ridiculous, though.
-
ya it is going around my school and all the freshman are freaking out because they will not graduate lol
-
I'll have my first term of university completed, most likely.
-
i will almost have my X ray tech licence
-
lol sorry did not want to start an up roar, all I wanted was a topic starter
and you all seem like kick ass people, we think alike
and I like that honistly
so all n all who is going to the Febs meet up?
-
Griff, good luck! X-ray technician is a good job.
RC, it's not an uproar. An uproar is certain topics made by certain people in the past week.
But thank you.
And how is the last line relevant?

-rants-
The mayans were very brutal people, and learned how to 'read stars'.
Whilst reading stars, the Mayans said, "Dude, look! In 2012, all civilization will DIE! Muahahahaha!"
-
xD Because the Mayans SO had the Gregorian calender.

lol XP just asking would not mind meeting you all ya know
-
oh!~
lotus heard about this when my brother was 10.... which was... 9 years ago! ^^
-
So excruciatingly old news is excruciatingly old?
-
I'm a live-right-now person, I guess. I don't anticipate what's gonna happen in a few years, a few days, or even a few minutes. Even if the world ends in 3 years, the worst that can happen is me saying, "That sucks".
Ironically, I'm even posting on this thread...

The History Channel was running non-stop End of the World specials and ads for said specials during winter break. I found out about the 2012 stuff last year in my senior year of high school (and became depressed).
But if the world as we know it comes to an end, I'd rather have the apocalypse come in the form of Zombies (which I know how to deal with), or in the form of a giant Mr. Stay Puff.
-
Everytime I hear about end of the world stuff, I always think of a news report about people gambling on whether or not the world would end on 6/6/'06. Seriously, if the world did end, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE MONEY YOU WON?
-
That video was horrible. Their grammar made it a joke. I've heard about 2012, and I'm pretty much indifferent about it. Although, I do have to agree with Teasel. A Zombie Apocalypse would be pretty awesome.

That's where I heard about it first, actually.
Seemed like they put more attention into the 7 Deadly Sins thing, though, which could have been better because after watching it all I really felt was the need to punch Freud.
