Title: I suck at making cosplays! (Help!)

It's true! I absolutely suck at making cosplays from scratch! Which REALLY sucks, because my cosplay I've been wanting to do for K-con 2009 will NEED to be made from scratch!

I want to change a few things for my cosplay. For one, I'm ditching the harp and I'm going with an electric guitar. I'm also wanting to go with a darker color scheme, mostly black blue and brown. I really want to it to scream "ROCK!", if you know what I mean.

they prob havent moved it because all the title says is "i suck at making cosplays"
a venting style thread for  spam, not if the title said "please give me pointers at making cosplays" in the spam section, they migh have moved it, and you made the tread why didnt you put in the cosplay section?

If it helps any, I recommend finding someone who can make cosplays to make it for you.  That's what I'm doing.

I would also advise higher quality cloth! it makes cosplays look way more legit :P

i'm just saying... like try to match colors and sew straight and stuff and you'll be all good! ^^

I've never made a cosplay from scratch. K-con '08 was the first time I've ever cosplayed. And that cosplay was made from clothing I already had or bought.

its the first thing i sewed and basically all i did was make sure the color was right and sew carefully ^^
its not that hard acutally, you just kinda have to go for it :3
