Title: When should I make my hotel reservations???

Hey there,
me and three of my friends want to get a hotel room this year  :) and we wanted to know when the best time to make the reservation was  :-\ ?? We know there will be a lot of people going so if you got a hotel room at Kumoricon before if you could give us some advice it would be really helpful. Thanks  :)

The best time is now!

Hotel rooms could always sell out. (Sorry, I don't have any specific information regarding if this is likely or unlikely, but the chance generally goes up the closer you get to the con.) You aren't charged for the room until the con.

I think I'll follow that advice too. Me and a buddy are hoping to stay at a room but don't know where or how soon is recommended. Are the highest rates going to be at the Hilton itself? Just wondering if anyone knew.

The venue, the Downtown Hilton, is the only Kumoricon-affiliated hotel, although it contains two towers and you choose your tower when you reserve the room. The rate won't change throughout the year, as it is the Kumoricon attendee discounted rate and has been fixed in our contract with them. This should always be lower than the rate offered to the public if you were not there because of Kumoricon.

So it's advantageous, but because of that it could fill up fast.
