i went like 6mos w/o playing then i go to a friends house and am forced to play on med i did well. i was proud.

Actually, Patrick's not kidding.  Me, Him, Washu, and Blaze can do expert across the board on any song and average around 93-94% overall. :P

Vocals are easy to pass, hard to combo/100%.

Bass is much easier IMO.

Drums are tough but you'll get used to them if you try. I haven't done well with hard on any of the instruments but I stay afloat in Medium up until the end. As for doing vocals at the same time (three letters you lazy bastards!)  my friend Will is trying to build a pedal to take care of the microphone bumps so you don't have to use your face like SOME people I know. Right now though all I HAVE is the microphone because we got one with Vallie's karaoke game. We're planning on getting the rest of the instruments when we get Rock Band 2 in a couple months.

I had a much harder time with the drums on guitar Hero World Tour. I actually want to go through their tutorial and find out how the hard and soft hits work.
