comden and actor George Carlin died on sunday
I think I first saw him as rufus in bill and ted movies, and then as a comeden, countless stand up specials,
more recently he was in kevin smith movies
his comdy style was one of a kind
he will be missed

I KNOW! I just got word like, 2 hours ago! I saw his live show back in April...I saw one of his last shows.
I considered him the king of standup, since Bob Hope died. Now who will be king?
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( *sadgasm*

So, tonight I paid respects to the great (formerly) living King of Stand-up Comedy by watching his first televised special, Carlin on Campus, accompanied by a shot of Jack.
How are you mourning/celebrating his life?

Pretty much, yeah.

I am sad to hear of his loss (I heard about it Sunday night). Makes me doubly glad that my hubby and I went to see him last summer when he was here in Portland at the Schnitz.

That's good.
Me, I saw a show in April.
It's weird knowing I saw his last show (as in the material contained within).

I know! I didn't even know he was gonna be in the area until my dad called me up and told me that he won tickets to it.
It was so good, though I didn't like some of his Military jokes. Other than that, I really loved the show.
