Honestly, I don't think there's any way anyone can guarantee you'll get in, which is why people are able to pre-reg all year long. There's no way, though, to predict whether or not we'll be sold out right away on Sunday.
The only advice I can really give is to check the forum on Saturday night and see if there's any messages from staff about availability on Sunday, and then try to get there as early on Sunday as you can.

Two years ago the con reached its maximum capacity and had to turn people away on Monday, maybe on late Sunday. But also during that con we were sharing space with another gathering.
I'm not sure if we reached capacity last year but I kinda doubt it.
This year, I'm not sure how the hotel is in comparison to the others.
But like valliegirl said, get here as early as you can on whichever day. The earlier, the better chance you'll get in without any trouble.

they reached capasity on saturday and could only let people in if people left

Yes, there is a cap. It is fairly high, but with the way this year's been we may well hit it. Be there early.
