its so hard to make a **** foam head... i dont know how to put cloth on it.... *cries* how did that KON do it!
im having alot of issues on my cosplay!

What is it exactly that you are creating, Panda? Is the foam a stuffing for something that you're sewing, or are you making something out of foam that then needs to have the fabric glued to it afterwards?

I just searched for who was the Kon cosplayer if that helps.
Their username is Emerald but I'm not sure if they've been on the forum recently.

Reminds me of the time I was at a thrift store and I saw a little girl trying to reach a top shelf ware they was a foot long unicorn by Imperial toys. She would stare at it then try to reach it, then stare at it again. she tried and treid to reach it and when she left I assume to get her mom I grabed it and ran to the check out.
I so bad, but now my Eowyn figure rides a Rare colectable Imperial Unicorn I got for 50 cents.
And the links Catgirl Rin Rin posted look like a great resource to make one with the materials that are avalable to most peaple. Next time I get a large hunk of foam I may try a foam head just to see if I can

ok i have a paper mesh ball and im spraying foam on it then sanding it down... now i need to find a way to put cloth over it and oother things ='(

um... Panda did you even read this topic like.. at all? I think Rin Rin gave you pleanty of helpful information, so stop complaining and read up ^^

I have found that for most costuming and re enactment projects some one some ware has some real good sources on the net. One of my first costume commissions was to make 2 sets of roman Armour in leather. I was the patch boy at a shoe shop and some one called about some repairs on leather accessories for their Easter play and asked if I knew any one who could make the Armour. The customer did not hear me say no and later that night I got to thinking and I did about 4 hours of research on the net and was amazed at all the information I found. That Monday when he came in I had a folder of printouts, books and a tiny demo model made of cardboard. He had not heard me say no and thought I knew what I was doing all along and I made a deal that was $700

you can do it panda , if the cloth dont streach it might be the problem, try for cloth that does, like, if its for that cat try crushed panne is kinda velvety and furry suitlbe for cats

UPDATE OF GOODNESS!
well i have my stuff for it but im doing a last weekend rush to finish it!!!
i have the paper mesh ball once agen after it EXPLODED so i made another and this one is good. im about to cut it out tomorrow and check on how far my full body outfit is going. my friends mom is helping me sew it toghether.... im working on geting the head rdy for the stuff also im making a hood that has a panda thing on it as well so if the big head isent finished in time...
but over all i have a last weekends rush to go through... never agen will i procrastanate ... (SPELLING ERROR BUT I DONT HAVE TIME TO FIX IT CUZ I G2G AND I JUST WASTED TIME TYPING THIS)
