okay may not seem like a big deal but i have never been!!!  actually i am waiting for my hubby parking so outside the zoo, but I AM GONNA GO IN!!

Okay so my husband and brother took me to the zoo and then a bunch of friends were there for a early birthday party at zoo! had presents and lunch saw the zoo and later went to dinner and just saw scott pilgram movie how awesome is that?

I thought it was pretty cool, but not very good for taking pics.

My mother said the Northwest part was rather lame, and looking from the Zoo train, it seemed she was right.

Speaking as someone who's worked at the Zoo for four years now, it's pretty difficult to see anything great about it while on the train. That's like taking the MAX through Portland and considering it a good tour.

Besides the newly redone Africa area, I believe the Great Northwest is the newest area. Thus it's better designed and more interesting to tour through. I haven't ridden the train since I was about 12, before the Great Northwest was built, but what exactly did you see? Does the train even really go through the Great Northwest? I know it goes through the Family Farm, where I work, and that's very different from the Great Northwest.
