Also I'm bad at sales, advertising, and politics, and I'm not a very good actress even though I enjoy it.

INFP: "Questor". These people are idealistic, self-sacrificing, and somewhat cool or reserved. They are very family and home oriented, but don't relax well. High capacity for caring. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 1% of the total population
Wow... There's this one description that I totally related to: "Their quiet personalities further feeds their feelings of depersonalization. The INFP's quest for self-identity then seems even more alluring — but increasingly impossible to attain." That's me in a nutshell. o_o
-
I'm also INFP

INFJ: "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1% of the total population. These are serious students and workers who really want to contribute. They are private and easily hurt. They make good spouses, but tend to be physically reserved. People often think they are psychic. They make good therapists, general practitioners, ministers, and so on.
-
.... What the hell is paradoxical?
This survey thingy annoys me. My result is going to be totally not right because have of the answers to those questions happen to be BOTH for me.
-
My personality type is INFP.
Edit: Sorry if it seemed like I was responding to you. ^_^; I was just cut+pasting what the results said without paying any mind to it. :-X

If this is the same test that I took a while ago then I'm an ENTP. Or sometin' like dat.
-
INTJ: "Scientist". Most self-confident and pragmatic of all the types. Decisions come very easily. These are the most independent of all types. They love logic and ideas and are drawn to scientific research. They can be rather single-minded, though.. 1% of the total population.
I'm kinda like that, but it really depends on who I'm hanging out with.

I just checked this out and I think the personality test I took is better, with the questions on this one it's pretty obvious how your answers will affect the results.
-
My personality type is ESFP.
Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. They make good performers, they like public relations, and they love the phone. 13% of the total population.
Cool. It was actually accurate.
ESFPs’ need to socialize with others may create difficulties at work or school. Their tendency to over-emphasize subjective data can cause problems in structured situations. Like all SPs, ESFPs resist regulations and they can become quite defiant when their sense of freedom is violated. Their disregard for standard procedures will take the form of passive resistance and ESFPs usually develop many skills to annoy the people they blame for their loss of liberty. ESFPs are prone to neglecting time-limits and situations requiring organized goals; under such circumstances, ESFPs will become bored and restless, and will quickly develop a feeling of emptiness.
If a stressful situation endures, ESFPs will respond against others by mistreating themselves and acquiring habits that are self-destructive. Feeling empty, restless, and bored, ESFPs may experience a regression of their skills, graceful movements, and maturity. ESFPs penalize those responsible for obstructing their freedom while, at the same time, they restore excitement back into their own lives. Having not obtained freedom through appropriate behavior, ESFPs overwhelmed with stress will behave in ways that are unproductive to themselves and others.
Ugghh.. Okay to accurate.

Huh, haven't done one of these in YEARS. But... I'm still an INTJ.
I wonder if I am supposed to change careers to go make glass lenses.
-
ESTJ: "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. These are responsible mates and parents and are loyal to the workplace. They are realistic, down-to-earth, orderly, and love tradition. They often find themselves joining civic clubs! 13% of the total population
-
Outstanding leader of groups. Can be aggressive at helping others to be the best that they can be. 5% of the total population.
The ENFJs optimistic outlook toward social relationships is a burden to them at times. When external conflicts affect a group, the ENFJ is likely to assume responsibility. Their ability to empathize then turns into a liability. ENFJs, when over-identifying with the pain of others, will loose sight of their own concerns and interests. Their idealism can also be the cause of some distress when their assumptions are unable to weather the winds of reality. Fantasized relationships rarely translate into reality and even the best charismatic leader encounters unexpected resistance.

ESFP: "Entertainer". Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. They make good performers, they like public relations, and they love the phone. 13% of the total population.
Sounds like me, except I don't hoard the phone.
-
ESTP "Promoter": These are action-oriented people, often sophisticated, sometimes ruthless -- our "James Bonds." As mates, they are exciting and charming, but they have trouble with commitment. They make good promoters, entrepreneurs, and con artists. 13% of the total population.
... that is really lame

My science teacher sees me in 10 years, "...in the Amazon somewhere, fighting off things to get the cure to... death."
Take that entertainer label - you'll never bring me down!
No, offense to other entertainers, I just don't like that particular label on me.
-
ENTP: "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 5% of the total population.
ENTPs value their ability to use imagination and innovation to deal with problems. Trusting in their ingenuity to get them out of trouble, they often neglect to prepare sufficiently for any given situation. This characteristic, combined with their tendency to underestimate the time needed to complete a project, may cause the ENTP to become over-extended, and to work frequently beyond expected time limits. Complicating this situation is their predisposition to experiment with new solutions. This makes them eager to move on to the next challenge when things get boring. ENTPs become stressed when their improvisational abilities are ineffective and they will avoid circumstances where they might fail.

I hope you choose a different profession. They make far too many at the Journalism school here now. I know many who don't work in what they are trained for.
Try novelist instead, maybe?
