Title: Smokers [of anime] Unite!
Post by: Kisitiene on September 20, 2009, 11:40:48 pm: So I was staring at one of my friend's signatures on here and my mind was on one of my old cosplays and I thought, "I need to get some cigs for him..." Then I thought of this! How awesome would it be to get a lot of smokers from animes together for a huge addiction photoshoot? Maybe it's just me but I think it would be pretty awesome...

Rule 01 ) Fake Cigs only! No real cigs would be allowed due to asthma, allergies, and other issues. You may have them with you if you do not have fake ones but you may not lite up; you never know what could happen.
Rule 02 ) No actual smoking in the area of the shoot! We will set up away from real smokers and expect to stay away from real smokers. {See Rule 01}

I don't want to add more rules than this so please keep things clean and within sane limits.

So if you're with me then tell me who you'll be at Kcon 2010 and we can get something set up!

Make sure you don't cause trouble with other people trying to go by you. I would suggest it be at the square or the park just a few blocks away if you do this at Kcon next year.

As for drinkers.. I like that idea more, however I don't like to drink as much as hang out with drunk peoples I know. Sadly I don't know any of the people on here well enough ether :( But I'm sure it would be a nice time getting to know peeps over a few, eh?

Side note, anime drinkers are not the best crowd. You have the ones drinking to get into bed, and the ones with billigerent attitudes as default while drunk :/ I'm sure there are those that don't fit into the categories above, but if people were to act in character things could get real dicey fast at any get together.

As for smokers I don't think there is any problems at all, especially if the coordinator is not allowing others to lite up.

I had a guy come up to me when i was smoking my fake one and he was all you know your going to get busted for that right? and i'm all it's fake you idiot... *glairs at trying not to attack* I was in a big stein mood that day lol

it was funny me and my cousin were in an elevator that had a sign that said no smoking so almost every time i would pull out one of my fake ones and start laughing.

Post by: Kisitiene on September 26, 2009, 02:07:58 pm: Fake cigs are the best. You can get them around halloween and they have a chalk in them. You blow into the end of them and 'smoke' comes out the other end. And as Koia said, they can be seen as realistic if you play them right.

XD This year alone I had quite a few people who would ask me if they could have a cigarette, or if I had a lighter LOL. Last year I was sitting outside waiting for my friends, when this guy comes over, sits down next to me, and lights one up. Afterwards I laughed so hard!

I gotta get the other times and then manuver my two photoshoots around all those. Only my secret is a toss in the air. The rest are our group or I'm in charge of...

And I wouldn't plan when you're wearing your cosplays NOW! I mean, you have almost a whole year! And people don't start planning photoshoots til like two to one month before con.
So, don't sweat about it!

And of course I'm going!!! This will be too much fun to not go!

i have done it myself, on more than one occasion.
if you exhale quickly it works, but leaves you with a bad aftertaste and a chalky coat on the roof of your mouth. bleh.

I'm sick of this senior stuff. We got our regulations for Senior Pics today which are due in two weeks...and I can't use the picture I wanted to because of these stupid new regulations. I was so pissed I started to cry and I got so upset I made myself sick and now I feel like crap and my tummy hurts and I just wanna vomit.
I travelled to Crater Lake in Oregon to take my Senior Picture and now I can't use it?! It's BS! I'm writing a letter to our new Yearbook teacher and trying to get other seniors to do it, too and get this changed. I am just so fricken pissed! UGH!

Anyways! Back on topic! ^^
I would go to Sakura Con but I need to save money and no one I know is going so yeah...

the only reason im going to mewcon is because im going to be staff, and my dad was nice enough to give me money for hotel stuff

if you are interested in going to mew, we may have an extra spot open in our room.

it would still require a small amount of cash, but if you become staff, you wouldn't have to pay entry.
