Sorry about this, but with the con days away I'm close to entering freakout mode. I had my badge mailed, and it hasn't arrived yet. I asked this question once to the forum already, I emailed the person in charge of registration and asked them several times, and I asked the vicechair a few days ago. I still have not gotten an answer to this question:
IF FOR SOME REASON, I DO NOT HAVE MY BADGE BY SATURDAY, CAN I GET IN AND WHAT DO I NEED? I know photo ID, I can print out my confirmation email, but the letter my friend got says the badge is required to get in. I can't afford to get a new one. Will ID and an email printout be enough? Please, someone tell me!

this happened to me last year : o
my badge didnt arrive on time, so I went to the pre reg line with my receipt of payment (usually emaild to you) and explained I hadnt got in the mail, they printed up a new one for me.
so bring your ID and your confirmation and they should get you a new badge, with out having to pay for a new one. Mix ups happen, the con staff arent mean enough to make you pay again if you can prove youve already payed your fee.

Beautiful! I figured that would be the case, but I didn't know for sure. ^_^

xD yeah, i was pretty freaked when mine didnt come last year : ) so I know how you feel.

Registration hasn't e-mailed me back either. I got neither the e-mail, nor the badge. Does this mean It got lost in the mail, stolden, etc. And will I have to get in line to buy a new one?
-
Same process as above, bring your email with your name and transaction number to will call and we will make a badge for you. Hopefully it gets to you before you leave for con, but stuff happens.

I was never sent a confirmation e-mail in the first place see. No transaction # to give. This means that it most likely got intercepted, correct?

Have you checked the spam filter on your email account?

Yep.

did it come up on your credit card that you paid for the badge?
if you still have the bill for your card that had the payment on it then that might be able to show as proof you payed for your badge.

Sadly, I did the stupid thing and MAILED CASH. Oh yes, you heard quite right. *Sighs and lets head fall to desk* Though I wrapped it and put it in a security envelope, I still have a feeling I'm going to be waiting in the four hour line come Saturday. I'll keep my hope up that it just got stuck in the bottom of a mailbag and will arrive... uh, someday?
-
D: that is certainly not good then.
-
Yep. Certainly learned my lesson. Maybe a day will come when I am offered the chance to mail money and I will have the knowledge not to do that. Though, it should have been common sense for me. I must be missing the logic center of my brain, everything else works great though!

My friend was having the same problem. It took them two weeks to get back to her and they finally did yesterday. Be patient, they've probably got a thousand e-mails coming at them from every direction, so take a deep breath. Everything'll be fine. They're reprinting hers and having her pick up in the will call line, so they'll probably do the same for yours. ^^

For those of you that mailed your payment with in the last 2 months, your badge should be at will call. If you mailed cash, well, i'd say your boned, but it wouldnt hurt to check will call.
